Haha! I never thought of that. I honestly don't remember if he had it on during the mutation. A lot of those trailers show clips and shots completely out of sequence. There's not like a big memorable shot of him putting it on so I don't know

So many callbacks to the FW cartoon, do they not care about anything else? And is it just me or do the realistic, hulking Turtle designs just not mesh well with this silly tone they're going for. It would've accepted this direction a lot better if they redesigned the Turtles to look more like realistic versions of FW like this:

Yeah, for me it just makes them even more unbelievable. Like the Raph hitting the window like a cartoon or the seemingly non-existent physics during the free-fall scene where the Turtles bounce on the exterior of the plane after falling like five stories. FW Turtles would've made the Looney Tunes approach a lot easier to swallow imo.

Also, Seth, they keep showing Shredder on top of the Technodrome... what exactly does he do there?

Honestly, I hate the way it looks in the trailer. It's being assembled piece by piece in the movie so it starts to look better and better. When I saw the eye come up, it was one of my favorite shots. Problem is, you don't get to see a lot of it
