Oh yeah, there's something I've been wondering ever since this movie was announced but I haven't asked yet. In the last movie, April got fired and the ending implied she never got her job back, does she magically have it back in this one?

I feel like they want to have it both ways -- pander to the '80s cartoon nostalgia, but also chase that "hardcore" sickbro design sensibility with the giant 'roided-out Hulk Turtles. It's an awkward fit to say the least.

I'm going to the 1st showing (at 10:10am) so I will pop into the pub to get breakfast. After the movie has finished I might go to Nandos or Pizza Hut for Lunch.

Yes. She has her job back. Although there is barely any channel 6 stuff in the movie. Technically, she got her job back in the last one but they cut the scene out because of Asian shredder

Does it go unexplained in this one though, is it ever mentioned how she got it back? Because I doubt Whoopi Goldberg found out she was telling the truth about the mutant turtles, so it must be some other reason.

It's never explained. Vernon no longer works at channel 6 in this. April spends most of the movie helping the turtles. It never shows her being a news reporter until the end.

The only thing about this movie that I'm willing to pay money for. Like, Jablonsky's a great composer. Super stoked for this.
