I'm fine with no Pete. For some reason, I love him in IDW but hate him in Nick, even though he's basically the same character

The issue with IDW Pete and the hostage situation is one of the funniest parts of the comic.

I'm all for adding Mondo, but not at Pete's expense. He's a nice fella.

Prolly just biased against his design or VA. I definiteley think IDW's is better across the board, but I still love Nick's. He's just an innocent goof, easy to like.

The first half of season 4 i felt like this show had finally gotten it's act together.

the last half of season 4... back to the same old stuff..


now it seems like they are just throwing forgotten characters at us at random (Hun, Baxter Fly, Karai).

and with another horror like episode, this time with bugs....i don't know. sometimes this show comes off as weirdly written teen fan fiction than a turtles show to me. especially with all these love interests coming in for the turtles.

It's like they throw a b unch of ideas at a mad libs dart board and throw whatever they think looks cool into an episode. there doesn't seem to be any real planning into it.

think i'm going to go back to my original plan. save up a bunch on dvr, and just watch in binge hoping to find one good one.

at the end of last weeks episodes when shredder sprouted mutant claws....got a major groan out of me.. all i could think of was wolverine. ugh.

LOL, what on earth are you talking about? How are Karai, Baxter and Hun "forgotten characters?"

They appear regularly throughout the series, only absent for a while for the obvious reason the Turtles were in space for 13 episodes. And you're complaining that they're showing them again saying they're "throwing them in?"

Do you even know what you're complaining about anymore?

I feel like there could've been a big "mutants exposed" arc that we missed out on.

"Muckman" could've been the start of the arc with the newswoman as a villain

There is a Nick comic where Muckman goes on the news foiling crime. Honestly you guys should read the Nick comics IDW puts out, some of them do fill in the blanks and bring back old characters. Like there was a Baxter/Spiderbitez team up in one, for those of you wondering where Spiderbitez is.
