I liked 2012 being CGI.

I like the idea of other dimensions, that means a load of characters may at least guest in this.
Saying that I'm not sure I watch it must past it's first couple of eps at this point anyway.

Time for some meme magic:

1. Raphael will only be the leader till around mid/late Season 1. Due to his hot temper and rashness, and Leonardo becoming more confident and growing into the leadership role, Raph will step down and let Leo take his place as the leader of the team. He will receive Splinter's blessing. We're going to see a Leonardo who grows into the leadership role for once.

2. Shredder will be hinted at early in the season but will appear properly around the 13-14th episode of the season. The Turtles backstory as usual will be revealed.

3. Raph's tonfa's will eventually change into sai's over the course of the show.

4. While there will be many new characters and villains at first, like the 2012 cartoon, eventually they'll start bringing in more classic TMNT characters, and even some characters the 2012 show created like Tiger Claw or Fishface.

5. The show will have a 5 year run and 124 episodes, just like the 2012 series.

6. The show might surprise us and turn out better than expected, even if it doesn't become a fan-favorite.

I wonder what else they will reveal before it comes out... if they won't even confirm whether ice cream kitty will be in it then it leaves me thinking they won't want to confirm anyone else

Hey guys, I'm a bit of a lurker, but I've been a huge TMNT geek since 87, and later discovered the comics and all that.

I'm not into these designs. I'm just not.

That said, the show could be decent, for what it is. I really liked the 2012 show, though 2003 might be my favourite cartoon incarnation thus far.

One thing I'm noticing, is a lot of you are either neutral or positive on these designs. If you look at the internet on the whole, its 90 percent negative.

I hope the show itself has good writing and makes up for this, but I'm not too hopeful. Time will tell.

I watched the reveal livestream on YouTube and it didn’t give me the best impression. Rob Paulson sure was pleasant, the interviewer did the best he could, and having Kevin there is never a bad thing, but the producers of the show didn’t seem too enthused and forgot to show any sort of passion for their work.

Just not a good look for the show, though I appreciate them trying at least.

You will get a general feel of what the show is gonna be like from the trailers, that will be judgment day. At this point I hate the designs and the voice cast SCREAMS forced PC.

Couldn't agree more. Like I've been saying on FB groups, as long as the kids love it I'll be ok with it. Kids are after all the lifeblood in this property, been that way since the original '87 series and toys honestly. I'm still going to give it a fair shot. Does everyone remember the backlash Nick had when they announced the 2012 series

Yeah you're right, we won't know until then. I agree with the forced PC too, I wish we could go back to the sexy 87 April

I'm never a fan of livestreams of stuff like this. Was the livestream aimed mostly at kids or all fans or what? Rob seemed chill and Kevin is always a plus like you said haha. Do you think maybe the producers are trying to let the internet do it's publicity for them maybe? What are the promos on TV looking like right now on NICK?
