I really enjoyed watching this BTS video. The creators really do believe in what they are doing, which is somewhat inspiring, considering all of the backlash.
I can’t wait to see an entire scene to really see how this show is. I am more excited than I was for the 2012 series haha. Mainly because I was burned out of tmnt when it finally came out.

I find it interesting how the turtles are walking out in public where we can see civilians observing them.

Is this show take the route that the Fred Wolf show took by making the turtles not hide themselves from humanity other than for convenience reasons, or is there gonna be some sort of magical explanation which allows the turtles to walk around unoticed?

Heh, remember when that leaked image made people always think Leo would be some sickly looking Turtle who couldn't walk and always sat on Raph's shoulders? Just goes to show you how quickly people jump the gun on things.

Exactly. in 2003, The Turtles never went out of their way to fight crime. Trouble came their way and they tried to do the right thing. They were never meant to be the neighborhood watch.

As for this show...I have to admit I Am intrigued.

Yeah, now that you mention it, about the red marks and freckles... Mikey also seems to be lacking the orange/yellow-ish marks on his skin? Isn't that first image from the series? With the second having been the blurry 'test' one we saw a while ago... Curious.

I do like the amount of detail to their backgrounds, I gotta give them that. Though it may risk being too busy.

Why do I have a sneaky feeling, that they will use venus in this series. They might find her in the underground city, and it fits there mystic theme. The way PC is (we must represent women)

There can be representation of women without making a female '5th' turtle ☺ though I suppose a non main character turtle like Spike could be used or instance, if they wanted a female turtle that is. Someone mentioned on twitter that the creator didn't like venus, but I'm not sure if that is true or not.

When I viewed the teaser (again), I noticed something. I heard an unmotivated and unenthusiastic chant that came from the Turtles. ("YEAH!!!")

Since then, I've wondered what that was about.

There's a back log of characters, in the TMNT universe, but alot of them were used on the 2012 show. Maybe you will see venus in a one of ep, but at the moment, they seem to be making new characters.

I really hope we see a few extended epsisodes, later on in the shows run, with a mash up of the 2012/80s, and 03 turtles.

They did say that there would be different dimensions where familiar characters would pop up, so we never know who may turn up even if only once or a couple of times. That would be interesting.
If they do a 2012 crossover my enthusiasm would certainly Spike, but it would have to take up a few eps seen as they are short.
