You know who I want Jonah Hill to play?

Hugo Strange. He'd be a fantastic Hugo Strange.

How about random goon #2? Jonah Hill is a terrible actor.

Did you see his performance in Moneyball? He definitely earned an Oscar nomination for it.

I loved him in War Dogs.

Is Jonah Hill still fat? A few years ago he would have been perfect for The Penguin but now that he is in shape I don’t think he’d work anymore.

Too bad, I liked Jonah Hill better when he was a fatso.

He looked downright gaunt in "Maniac." Almost unhealthily skinny.

I watched "Superbad" again the other day for the first time in years. Still hysterical. His delivery is masterful.

Rumor has it that both Dick Grayson/Robin and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl are going to be introduced in this movie.

Likewise, it’s expected that the upcoming Batgirl film project will be tied into this new bat-world, and the currently delayed Nightwing movie has to wait until the status of Batman’s sidekick has been settled. From what I’ve heard, Dick Grayson is expected to make an appearance in one of the Reeves movies, probably in the form of an origin story (whether that’s the film’s main plot or a subplot, however, remains to be seen).

This is what I have been waiting to see since elementary school. Now, will they be forced to cast non-white actors? I love these two, but really want to see them like they are taken off the panel. If Long Halloween/Dark Victory serve as inspiration it will give a path for Dick Grayson to be introduced.

The Bat-Family wasn’t what I imagined when Matt Reeves started discussing Noir and detective stories as major influence for his vision. Interesting.

Honestly, my reaction is to recoil a bit when I hear about these characters being in a Batman movie. I’m not saying it can’t be done well, but it doesn’t excite me.

As long as Dick stays white I am fine with it. Barbara will probably be black though since all red heads become black these days.

If Jeffery Wright is indeed cast as Commissioner Gordon, then a POC will most certainly be playing Barbara Gordon/Batgirl.

Being white/black/whatever doesn't really change who Robin is for me, aside from the slight visual aspect. If we are making Dick requests ( >_< ), I'd like them to hire someone who could carry the mantle of Batman in a sequel one day. I just love Dick-Bats. There might be too much of a legacy aspect baked in for that to ever work in film, of course.

They could go with the adopted niece angle as dumb as it was it can serve diversity and give us the redheaded Batgirl at the same time.

Also, I like the idea of Dick Grayson being Batman in film. I like him as one half of the Dynamic Duo(either one) and never got into him as Nightwing (despite my cosplay).

Or they could do none of that and pull their head out of their ass.

The Dynamite Duo need film coverage! No substitutes or imitations!

I wonder how young they can cast a Dick Grayson for it to be realistic. If this is a serious take on Batman, then Robin being a 12-14 year old kid sidekick in pixie boots makes no sense. If you go with a 17-18 year old Robin, you run the risk of the same problem as Batman Forever/Batman and Robin, with Robin being poorly received or miscast.

Honestly Robin just doesn't make sense in live action. He's fine in comics and cartoons because it's fantasy, but in real life a serious character like Batman having this little kid sidekick fighting crime with him...just feels odd. Not to mention child endangerment issues, why would Commissioner Gordon allow Batman putting a kid in danger of being shot or killed?

You obviously haven't watched Titans cubed, live action Dick Grayson and Jason todd done justice.

Also Chris O'Donnel wasn't so bad, neither was Robin from TDK trilogy, they worked fine.
