At least the Shredder Armor in Rise have a in-world explanation how it can be halted by something like tickling seeing something isn't right with it according to Foot Lieutenant. FW Shredder is supposed to be a competent ninja master that usurped the Foot Clan, but oven in-show standards he's pretty bumbling, not B&R level of dumb bumbling idiot, but close enough.

I wonder what it'll be like, 10 years from now, if this place still exists, when we're on like the 5th or 6th or 7th TMNT cartoon and all new little kids who weren't even born yet will be part of the fandom.

I'll be, "Old man Cybercubed" by then, educating the new younger fans about the history of the TMNT franchise.

LOL, I have already thought of you as 'old man Cubed' whenever you go on about age and kids today etc, light heartedly btw not as an insult. (though you are not old)

Yeah if it lasts long enough at some point those older people on the net will be those who grew up with 2012 and Rise. Not sure what to expect to come, series after series, a long break before revisiting or it just stops.

That series has so much of this random nonsensical stuff in it that makes it fun to poke at though, in a good natured way, that it's kind of difficult to defend 'Rise' by making comparisons when 'Rise' apologists seem to want the dumb (and sometimes just gross Ren & Stimpy looking) stuff in that one taken seriously... when those things aren't even trying to be serious.

Its been said before but Rise takes influence to things like Trigger shows such as Gurren Laggen and Kill La Kill. Heck Teen Titans(the original one) even did similar gag numerous of times
