I don't like the wax sculpt at all. It looks very unfinished, and badly done. This is one of the reasons why most companies never show their prototypes. Because they usually look worse then the finished version. And they do in this case, in my opinion. It's a nice look at the early sculpting of the figure. But the final version is far superior.

Does that utrom actually fit in there?

Im sick of the should fits. The hat is supposed to fit the foot elite. Does it pop off? Yes. same with caseys mask.

I think stuff like that varies from figure to figure?

It must, cuz that's the first complaint I've heard on this forum about Caseys mask popping off.....

My Casey mask fell off after he fell 8 feet from the top of my bookshelf, then the vacuum sucked it up!

So I went out and bought another Casey the next day, which actually makes him better because he has TWO bats now.

Well, of course the prototype looks unfinished... it's unfinished! That's the point. The first stage of any artistic endeavor is usually the "worst", and it progressively gets better. That's how it works.

hmm ok

vintagesplinter to each there own I say....
..I love them orignal more then the finished....it's so raw and comic looking to me...
and personaly i'd rather have had the utrom sculpted into the figure like it was there ...want to know why I don't like the finished one...I always imagined these as silver not gray....and I hate the way the made the legs in the final version....but it's one of the figures I want the most besides Leatherhead....
and the utrom in the final version looks like its made of soft plastic so it should squeez into the body very easly
*update*
ok I just studied both pictures...I honestly dont care for the finished version...the utrom in the body sculpted looks so much better....the eyes on the proto are extreamly superior compaired to the finished product...the orignal is allot sleaker and looks like a toned robot ready to battle whatever comes its way...and also in the finished version the pecs or chest plates whatever u want to call them look allot more spred apart compaired to the porto....I don't like that either...wish I coold own the proto lol
but my only major gripe with playes to this very day and they dont seem to get it I doubt they ever will is that they need to get with the times and start painting there toys allot better especilly with this new line...most of the fans have grown up and like to see a bit more in there toys...I know this is a new kids line but they also market it towards us (please dont tell me they don't because i know they do) it's all in the paint the majorty of the sculpts are very beautiful ...but yea can't allways get what yea want
