i think these are expected to go on the walmart website during their collector event that takes place during July 24th and 25th. There is also a sneak peak on July 18th, so some stuff could go live then as well.

I'd like to see them do Krang's android body, whether it's the small or large version. Also does anyone know what's up with the new weapons these guys come with? They just seem kind of... odd.

The new weapons are like the new heads on the Origins basic He-Man and Skeletor and the secondary heads for the Super7 turtles. Playmates wanted to do something to make the line stand out. I agree with you. The new weapons are odd.

I saw these at Wal-Mart the other day and was surprised at how small the sculpts were. Granted I only looked at them in the box, but they looked like a smaller sizing within the original vintage scale.

They're basically scaled nearly the same as the vintage figures, but much like MOTO Origins, since the figures can bend their knees to stand straight up, they're a bit taller.

Vintage MOTU and TMNT have bent knees in a "squat" pose which mostly accounts for the differences here.

But if you bend the Remastered figures knees to be in the same pose, they're basically the same height/scale.

Finally got mine! Here's a size comparison with other 5-inch scale Playmates figures.

These could have been the perfect 5-inch turtles if not for the skin texture, but they certainly look better in person. They now scale much better with the other Playmates TMNT line.

He is still in stock for me.

Walmart.com stock is determined locally. Every person will see different stock depending on their location.

Assuming that Walmart's website is accurate, the stock of these guys in my area is REALLY weird. It says that Raph is in stock at every store near me, Mikey is in stock at one 20 miles away, and Leo and Don aren't in stock anywhere. I'll probably check my local one today or tomorrow anyway to see what I can find.

Well that was fast. Walmart.com delivered my Remastered Leo today. The other 3 are scheduled for tomorrow.

after opening and playing around with remastered 1988 Leonardo I'm just gonna be honest... I love it. The texturing is a lot more mellow IRL to your eye than on pictures so it's actually quite subtle. new articulation gives new life to these old sculpts, feels great to play with. It's not Origins level but it's good enough that I'd want them to do more figures in this style. I hope more people will get some... only 12.99 each so they are a bargain IMO with all the stuff they come with

Playmates, you could have done something that better goes toe-to-toe with MotU Origins but I still think your effort is worth people's money. I'm really happy with them.
