Mine arrive this week.

Shredder’s fabric looks awful. It’s like Karai all over again.

Yeah, I don't know why Super7 even bothers, ruining an otherwise perfect figure with cloth fabric. Most companies have not mastered this form of mixed modalities appearance, only Mezco really, and even then it often looks off and frumpy from time to time.

What I do appreciate is that Shredder has an unmasked helmet-less look, much like the coveted Armorized Shredder I had from the Playmates days.

Damn that sucks. I had pre-ordered the set from BBTS since my Christmas bonus was decent, but coming up at the end of January… that money’s all spoken for lol.

Coupled with that review, I went ahead and canceled everything except Splinter. I’ll pick the rest up eventually, but $55+ is INSANE for these jokers.

I do like the line. I unfortunately sold all of my Playmates 4kids stuff, so these scratch the itch of those pre- and early season 1 memories I had and remind me of how excited I once was for this version of TMNT.

But yeah, bring that MSRP below NECA’s if you want a chance of competing.

Damn, tempted to get April, wish she had better alternative heads and that she came with a laptop/mouser like her original figures. I mean what's the helmet from? They should've put that one in the full wave pack instead and given us the wink head instead.

but if I do I'll need to get Casey. How does Casey scale with other TMNT figures?

The helmet is from the one or two short moments where she rode bitch with Donnie on the shell cycle. This line is “motorcycle” themed. Hun stole the bike for 2 minutes once, so he gets a helmet head too lol.

But yes, I agree about the bonus head. The scared face is stupid and the one the figure actually has on is so neutral that it’s weird.

I do think I’ll get April though. ‘88 April gave me autism when she came with a handgun, so now I feel that she should always be strapped. The fact that this comes with a Triceraton blicky means I must buy it.

I hope Hun’s alternate arms actually work and don’t scrape his paint. Also real curious about his overall size, because those hands look massive.

Well...

I don't know how I can wish for a great 3.75" TMNT line all of these years and not support the ReAction+ line.

My only two real concerns:
-the price point is ridiculous: 25 bucks now for an articulated 3.75" figure - and that's retro, not even cutting edge.

-that it will be a "novelty" line and not fully fleshed out. The entire thing about 4" figures is the world building.

I'm probably in for that line though. I love the scale. But I will say that I'm a silent-harcore G.I. Joe ARAH collector and I quit buying the Reaction+ ARAH stuff. It was amazing wish-fulfillment, but 25 bucks a figure isn't just outlandish - it's offensive. So, I don't know.

Got my 2003 Splinter in the mail last night, really nice figure!

I remember how excited I was opening my 2003 Playmates Splinter 23 years ago, so it was a lot of fun unboxing a show-accurate one to join the guys on the shelf.

Felt a little light on the accessories, especially for the price point. But I liked the meditating head.

These are up on Target. Free shipping and 5% off if you have a Red Card. Little better deal than BBTS if you’re on the fence.

Of course the sane thing to do is wait for a massive discount on Amazon later this year.

I got pricing alerts set for the Foot Soldier. Might take months, or a year, but it worked on the Battle Damaged Foot Soldier and Karai where I got multiples for $35ish.

According to Entertainment Earth, it looks like the next wave should go up for pre-order on 3/19 because the Drop Zone says Super7 Action Figures & Vehicles as the tag instead of just action figures - and we know this wave is supposed to go up for pre-order in March.

I'm very curious how Super7 is going to handle this as the last two Ultimates (Thundercats and Tiger Sharks) both had ONLY 250 super packs available and they sold out fast.

Got Shredder yesterday. Yeah, that soft goods belt is atrocious lol. I also feel like he’s scaled a little too big, and his red eyes are so dark you can hardly see them.

I don’t know, I mean, 65.00 per figure - $75 for Hun (which I get it; he’s larger but…. I may have to wait on these. I’ve been looking forward to April and Hun but yikes…

I wanted to support the line a little bit since I want to see them do at least one more wave, so I went to preorder April. God damn $81 at checkout. I don’t think so lol.

Will be Amazon waiting that one too.

I truly wonder if this is the last wave - the rumblings around the TMNT license for everyone making action figures are sounding dire.

Bummer. Also, I saw they’ve only sold about 108 out of 400 bundles as of this morning. Is that normal?
