Incredibles 3

Last year, a third film was announced at the D23 Expo. Today, it was announced that Brad Bird, who previously directed the first two movies, will not be directing the third. Instead, the film will be directed by Peter Sohn (Elemental). Scheduling conflicts might've prevented Bird from returning as director, but he will remain on as a screenwriter and producer. No plot details or release date have been announced yet.

You know, I respect this I.P. for having legs and doing well and so on. But I remember years and years ago the first one drawing comparisons to the Fantastic Four flick of the same era.

People were comparing the "stretching" powers special effects and saying that the Incredibles did it better - which it may have done!

But what I do know is that I had a hard time making it all the way through the first one. So.... good franchise, glad people like it. It's fine, not for me.

They are probably going to start recording soon, and they had better. Craig T. Nelson (Bob/Mr. Incredible) is 81, and he seems to be healthy and in good shape, but I wouldn't want anything to happen to him during production.

At least he's remaining on as a producer and screenwriter, and he's likely to voice Edna Mode again. We also need to remember that Toy Story 3 and Toy Story 4 turned out very well even though the director of the first two films wasn't in the chair again.

Yeah heard that Dash and Violet will be the focus, wich is what I was hoping for, though I they don't make it too safe/kid friendly.

I heard the villain will have a lot of super powers.....I hope he is not Jack Jack from the future or some similar BS.

Maybe cause I'm used to anime, but it's odd the movie isn't about Dash and Violet being older. I guess the last movie started right where the first one ended. I'm assuming this one will start the next day or a week/month after the second.
