I also have met Michelle who is former miss-Texas in the mid or late 1990s. She was first runner-up to Miss USA. Roger is a former Houston Astro in the 1970s. I also know Billy Hatcher, another former Houston Astro in the 1980s.

Patrick Stewart. Patrick Stewart seemed a bit disengaged (no pun intended) but still smiled warmly and would shake your hand and greet you kind of mock-warmly. We had a brief moment as I was about to go up when I was "inside the curtain." Someone shouted "something something Patrick!!!" from outside kind of menacingly and he suddenly seemed alarmed. William Shatner just sat on a stool drunk. You just kind of stood next to him and he'd smile, kind of squinty-eyed. Oddly he seems way better in more recent cons.

Both were over 10 years ago now. Shatner in about 2010 and Stewart around 2012. Shatner was here in Seattle and Stewart was when I went to Chicago to spend a weekend with Frank Fosco.

A year ago I actually "met" Shatner again at Summercon in Puyallup. I was asking him a question and he side-stepped so I tried to redirect him on point and he told me "You shut up!!" in front of the crowd and everyone laughed.

The funny part is, I know for a fact that me and N3on met as kids because my parents took me over to his parents' house in Pakistan quite a few times.
