Spoiler:
Ok I didn't enjoy this issue as much as the others. So basically, the EPF has this facility that's supposed to be more secure than Area 51. And the Shredder went through it like butter. Marketting made it seem like Shredder was this smart and cunning guy with his plans, but in reality he just used a cheat code (The Vreen, I always knew it was a Tchekov's gun). It's like our French government being constantly hacked. So I would say it was an underwhelming issue, Shredder's too strong.

I noticed a rivalry started between the two right-hand women (the spy and the kunoichi), I wonder how this dynamic will evolve.

There was one scene I enjoyed though : the dialogue between the two doctors Dr.Smith and Dr.Yuhasz (a relative of cyborg Yuhasz ?). It was realistic to see how Yuhasz was dehumanizing Shredder to justify doing something unethical, and Smith reacted by saying he wasn't concerned by ethics but didn't want problems with the justice lol. It's true that Shredder's some kind of abomination but their actions still felt wrong.
Also Shredder was terrifying this issue, Wolverine style, that was brutal !

I also noticed Lindsey Baker and an Utrom were in the panel of the EPF experiments, I hope they'll have some use later (Lindsey return's was confirmed by the editor after all).

I guess the next issue will answer what IDW has planned for Shredder and his new Empire.

I am assuming that they're simply US Pentagon, but Shredder actually mentioned a military alliance of countries

Yeah, I agree. This whole series kinda reminds me of the meme about Michael Corleone being considered this legendary, Machiavellian villain but ultimately his big master plan in part 1 is just ****ing shoot everyone he doesn’t like lol

I have nothing new to say other than that. Bring back Sid Kotian.

Are you saying you do not care for the Dan Watters Shredder comic?

I wonder if they'll kill Mr. Braunze. He's only slightly more interesting than his Mirage counterpart. This issue felt way too short, was it the same number of pages as usual?
