This is different. This is misplaced "I'm angry at Trump!" stuff.

Paramount and and a coalition of 12 state attorneys general have defended the settlement after Democrat New Jersey senator Corey Booker raised a series of criticisms.

Right now Paramount is also wooing investors with $44.4 billion debt offering to fund the acquisition while they await the federal judge's final decision.

Cindy Holland, the head of Paramount+ is leaving. Casey Bloys will be in charge of both HBO and Paramount+ after her departure.

Of course. If they're making official and final personnel changes then it's a done deal.

There is some question about what the studio will be named once the merger is complete.

Paramount Warner seems like the most obvious name.

The judge just OK'd the settlement, which means the deal will close next week.

Mark Ruffalo might be the biggest crybaby around. I'm glad Paramount won over his beloved friends at Netflix.

It's strange the only thing I care about this is what happens to the TMNT franchise. I'm sure James Gunn's universe will continue regardless, Star Trek's current shows are all over already, and Avatar just has another show that doesn't look great.

TMNT is the only question mark. How much longer IDW will hold the license, what the next big live-action TMNT movie could be. It's really all I care about and my only concern about this merger.

Netflix's Ted Sarandos was briefly asked if he had any regrets about his bid to buy Warner Bros.
