Holy crap, what a nightmare!

Part 1 eps usually aren't that fast-paced. This is cool.

That was an enjoyable episode, though that small interlude with the Foot Clan seems to show that Karai hasn't even changed slightly since Prodigal Son. Which makes me wonder what point there was for Leo to confront (from a writer's standpoint). It changed nothing and in some ways made the episode rushed just to get to that point. Perhaps their first meeting since Exodus should have been left for next week.

Still, I think I can see where this is going. Turtles steal the Heart of Tengu for Bishop, the Mystics return to working for the original Shredder(s) -since they apparently had no love for Oroku Saki as this episode made quite clear- and the TMNT and Karai find themselves uneasy allies against the Shredder creatures the Ancient One spoke of in A Tale of Master Yoshi.

Still, I'm not quite sure how a mystic artifact that so far does no more than control the Foot Mystics can cure a virus, but we shall see. On the other hand, I do wish Bishop would go back to his Season 3 self. Perhaps I'm just an action junkie, but I've been looking forward to Agent Bishop getting into a brawl just as good as the one in Hun on the Run, but he seems to have left all his skill behind for the weapons in that armor he's been sporting lately.

Why did they have to skip such an important episode? I'd have rather missed out on Tales of Master Yoshi. They haven't made references to it. I'm not misisng any story. Now I already know the shock of how 'Insane in the Membrane" ends.

I'm very interested to see what the original shredder is/was/will be. TMNT is getting crazy. These are the most exciting episodes all season, too bad it will end soon.

The wait for Gameradon certainly wasn't in vain. This is great stuff. Poor Donnie you have to really feel sorry for him. I liked how Splinter calmed him down, it made me remember that one moment in the invasion when he called out to Splinter.

The Donnie/Leatherhead fight was pretty good. Short but good. Bleh 4kids always hyping up stuff. It should have been a little longer. Oh but poor Leatherhead that's terrible what happened to him. At least one of my questions was answered, they performed a vivisection on him. Definitely an important character development episode for him as well. I hope he eventually finds peace.

Oh but it's killing me! Why exactly is Leatherhead on Earth still? Does he choose to be with the turtles? Or does he choose to isolate himself from his family, the Utroms, for fear of hurting them?

Great episode. I really liked how they had the interlude with Karai and how we were shown that the Mystics had no respect for Oroku Saki. They referred to an ancient master. Who could this be? Could they be referring to the Shredder creatures in Japan? Perhaps Oroku Nagi? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Perhaps she knows she's wrong but is unable to let go of her anger. Some people have a hard time letting go. Yes, yes I'm defending Karai again.

Sounds like someone needs a meeting with the Ancient One.

Karai, still clad in Shredder armor, demanded that the Foot Mystics locate Leonardo so she may exact her revenge. Much like Bad Day, the Mystics mentioned how she had no respect for their abilities. However, this time they made mention that she was no different from Oroku Saki, even mentioning that they knew he was an Utrom. Anyway, they said (going from memory here) that she and Oroku Saki were insults to the original Shredder's legacy or something like that. Knew I should have taped the episode...

I'm guessing Karai already knew her father wasn't the first Shredder, since she didn't even react to the comment.

Of course, this leads to the question as to what the original Shredder is... a long lived human, perhaps a demon...

Something tells me the forthcoming episode entitled The Ninja Tribunal is going to be rather a rather Karai centric episode and reveal more about the Legacy of the Shredder and reveal just what those creatures the Ancient One spoke of a while back.

Maybe he's here explicitly to work on the "mutant outbreak" problem with Donnie.

*sigh* Donnie. They're milking the angst, and I'm lovin' it.

The references to the missing "Baxter eats it" episode are really tantalizing... I kind of like them. (And really, if I had seen Baxter die AGAIN I wouldn't have believed it anyway. )

Someone please stickie this thread and change the topic a bit.

Lots of monster bashing rumbling action. It's nice to see Leatherhead in action again. Man, they're killing me with all the suspense. It should be illegal to torture people with suspense!!!

The Foot Mystics exact words were, "You are nothing but a pretender. Like the Utrom abomination before you."

Tokka... you're my hero.

Seriously NICE episode. When this comes out on DVD, I'm getting it. Unless they're stupid enough to split up the Don mutates/Good Genes arc. Then I will sic 38 dingoes to eat their babies.

The writing is nice - all the emotion!... animation was well-executed... and the colors! The colors for the night scenes seemed really well-chosen to me. Heck, probably overall. And Leatherhead's new voice is starting to grow on me, I think. I like the old one better, but this is OK.

And where previous epsiodes seemed mis-paced (if that's a word...), going too slow or seeming to be trying to cram too much into one episode... this was a lot better. Fast-paced, but not constantly trying to throw too much story at us.

Only problem is... I had a bunch of people come in the room, talking... so I missed that entire last scene... starting around where Leatherhead starts having his flashback. *pats croc's head sympathetically*

Could anyone with the episode taped give me the script from that last part? Obviously Bishop said something that made the Turtles go D: ... but I missed what led up to it.

When Bishop asked Baxter if Don could be cured, it look like Baxter shook his head "no" but Bishop told the turtles he could cure him anyway. Did Bishop lie to the turtles to get the goods from Karai, or did Baxter actually shake his head "yes" and I was just imagining him saying no.

No, Stockman said "no", Bishop just plans to use the turtles. Maybe baxter will be kind hearted enough (I know, quite a stretch, but who knows.) to actually work to a cure, I'm really looking forward to the next episode, it's bound to kick serious butt, even if it's your basic "storm the enemy compound" episode they seem so fond of.

Well let's see, Bishop is manipulative, he gets what he want's by any means necessary, and he loves torturing the Turtles. I'm sure he really meant what he said...

Anyway, great, emotional episode. Did anyone else kinda shed a tear when Leo had to shoot Don to subdue him. I have a feeling that Ninja Truibunal is gonna be a really big episode.

Anyway, 9/10.

This was an interesting ep in that we learned that No Heart is interested in helping Bishop, who's name is John. Hopefully Baxter will find the cure for both Don and the Minnetonke guy.

Altho what the most interesting part is that we find out that Saki wasn't the original Shredder...that there was one before that.

I just wish they'd stop refering to the events in the ep they skipped...*sighs*....

I did some research on the name John Bishop:
There's an actor, there's an Ophthalmologist, a martial arts expert (Kajukenbo), The Director of Video Lab for the School of Arts and Architecture at UCLA, a musician, an elementary school (John A. Bishop Elementary), Bishop John Fisher (aka John of Rochester...he's uh a patron Saint..), a music group here in Seattle, Associate Professor
School of Biological Sciences in Vancouver, a lawyer in Bremerton, WA....
