I do not want Leo to have the injured shell back. It makes no sense. Leo's shell has healed. Turtle shells heal- the damage is not permanent.

You see, I on;t see why THOSE kind of turtle varients wouldn't be made, but we got Mutant Sports Turtles. At least rerelease the Mystic Turtles in 4 packs or something.

Too bad they're deciding to go with the movie line that they're just making stories up with now. Alien Hunters indeed.

Do you guys think next season was only ordered as a 13 episode season because of the late decision on the direction? Or if the 13 eps move into production quickly they'll order another 13 to bring it up to 26? Didn't something like that happen with the new Spiderman cartoon, where it got moved up from 13 to a 26 ep season that's going to air on KidsWB in the spring?

Ooh, you know, that didn't even occur to me- Leo's shell healing during FF. Is there an episode where one of them specifically notes that his shell is healing/has healed? I don't normally watch FF, sorry.

I think the 13 episodes are just the late decision. It takes time to do a whole season- especially one with GOOD plots.

I do wish they had shown the gradual healing of Leo's shell. If there is any point where it should have shown the major change, it should have been at the beginning of "Scion of the Shredder", with more detail during "Prodigal Son".

Frankly, I LIKE the idea they're trying to incorporate some of the movie into the show. Yes, it doesn't fit in with the canon, but I was hugely disappointed when all they did to incorperate the Simpsons movie into the show was showing the town being rebuilt in an opening, and forgetting about everything else.

Yeah but "less humorous" shouldn't be too hard to do since FF wasn't even funny to begin with. Although I am pleased that it is getting back to the serious tones.

If that's the source of that particular piece of information, we may be able to chalk it up as just Dan getting his info confused (since, once upon a time, the next season was slated to have the movie-look). Until some other insider gives this info, my fingers are crossed that it was a mistake. I seriously hate when they do things like that.

Sorry...its the best art style they could have done. The only major difference would be the Turtles presumedly having pupils behind their masks for the first time in this series, which is fine by me.

What is there honestly worth complaining about here? We haven't even seen a single screenshot from next season yet.

Who knows but there has been a trend on them wanting 13,

the lost season was 13 episodes, I believe i've heard they just "cut down" the filler and also remember reading that it was always meant to be 13 episodes.

FF while 26 episodes were produced didn't 4K!ds always mention it as two 13 episode seasons?

So who knows, of course I'd prefer 26 episode seasons as it means twice as many episodes so it'd be good if its only 13 to "test" how this new "format" works.
