Seriously-- they share pics that give me some hope regarding the season, then they pull a "stunt" like this-- this is just Search for Splinter all over again, only bit by rodent bit (or is it byte by rodent byte?).

Well, at least that explains why Splinter doesn't make it back and why Serling needs to go back with them. It's likely that Serling may be some sort of key to bringing Splinter back. I'm sure in the finale, the turtles will save Splinter, and Serling will be free to go back to the future where he belongs. Or perhaps the writers will keep him around just for laughs. Anyway, sounds interesting.

Heh, Digi-turds, hehe. Y'know, it's a shame Digimon didn't turn out better than it was. That show had so much potential. Oh well.

Anyway, I'm honestly not sure yet HOW I feel about this. It's a BIT better than the "Splinter staying in the future with Cody, while Serling comes to the present with the boys" scenario, but NOT by MUCH!

Although I suppose that it's okay.

About the ONLY caveat that I have with this idea (so far) is that I thought that they got RID of Viral back in the "Day of Awakening" ep, and, as Viral is yet ANOTHER TMNT villian that I absolutely LOATHE, I'm decidedly NOT happy about HER being back in the 2k8 season. Truthfully (and this is saying something, given how much I absolutely hate HER!), I think I'd rather see KARAI come back on a regular basis in the series.

And that's MY 2 cents. For now, anyway.
