It sounds almost like that first pitch Mirage received, about making it like "Card Capture" or "Chaotic"-- They've turned Splinter into a "Gotta collect 'em all" type of crusade.

True. It's like telling Splinter to step on a landmine and spend weeks collecting all the peices.

Eh, strange news, I'm pretty much ok with it, as long as it does'nt involve them in a bunch of cyber computer worlds to fight evil virus's and befriend firewalls on...which it probably will.... But really, as long as they return to a slightly more mature tone and can pump out a little more darkness out of the tmnt, I'll be very happy. The movie being darker was a big part of the reemergence of the property, so I think we'll get a bit of that in the new show.

More than Card Captor Sakura it sounds like Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, where they are capturing feathers that are Sakura's memories.

Now where did they pull this from exactly? I know they need some sort of bridge transition. But I would have been perfectly happy with a smooth and seamless return to present time and their having new episodes based on Mirage comics.

Of all the Power Rangers rip-off shows that were popular around 93-94, VR Troopers was the absolute worst one.

So yeah, that would make it even lamer.

Which is proof you didnt watch it that long or couldnt see past the talking dog, which makes your arguents even lamer.

Well, VR Troopers, I believe, was a rip-off of an already lousy franchise. I believe that Power Rangers remained on TV a heck of a lot longer than its fandom lasted. The TMNT franchise ran into a couple roadblocks over the years but was never lousy, save for NM, and originality has only done it favors, but still, their choice. All opinion of course, so no need to take me too seriously.

But that's probably be expected since it was footage spliced together from several Japanese shows. And even then, it was footage from the 80's despite V.R Troopers being produced in 1994.

It's fandom can't be doing that bad. The traffic for Rangerboard is significantly higher than the Technodrome forums.
