I agree. There are plenty of great comic arcs to put into animation, I hope we get to see more of those soon. Not a big fan of the cyberspace concept

Screw the comic-based arcs. Originality is far better.

Plot twists like Shredder being an Utrom make me agree as well.

Well I like them both.

I agree that I do not care for the cyberspace concept either. It just has not been done on any previous TMNT universe- so I do not know how they will handle it.

And VR Trooper stunk.

I was on the 4kids TMNT blog, and I found this little tidbit of information:

Will the TMNT show ever return to present day New York?

Sooner than you might expect! Make sure to check out “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Back to the Sewers” next season to find out!

Does this mean that "Back to the Sewers" is the official subtitle? Sorry if this has already been established.

Sounds like it. It also gives hope that 4kids will choose theme #5 in the end even if #3 has more votes overall.

Most likely 4kids will rig the poll in the end anyway. Not that anyone here except 1 person would mind.

Two people actually... What? Hell no, not me. But, I recall there were two raving about it when ToTheNines had to piss 'em off. So, if #3 wins the race, I know where I'll be placing the blame.

Well, I think it's safe to say that from this point forward that the show will be called Ninja Turtles: "____________" since it would seem they want each season to have a theme.

I agree to an extent... though I think the River and Sky Highway are SCREAMING to be animated.

Anyway:

I have to admit, if the TMNT need a byline, at least it's one that doesn't sound rediculous. Since S4, the series had a byline, though it wasn't really official. "Mutants and Monsters"- which was basically only used in Merchandise. I don't see why they shouldn't call it that at all, since we're clearly going onto another series, rather than just another season.

What was the byline for Season 4? I know that for 3 it was "Ways of the Warrior", at least in the DVD boxes. Dunno how official that was, or if it was used in the broadcast.

And I did not like the Sky Highway comic, though animating it could improve it. It was not terrible- but it was not particularly good.

No. They did "Sons of the Silent Age", but completely cheapened the meaning behind the original story by changing the ending.
