the only times i can remember about april and dating througout the series, is she was going out with some rich guy in the end of episode "Raphael Meets His Match". and in some of the red sky eps she stated that she dated a scientist and he had something to do with something the turtles where trying to figure out.

she also had Bug Man sweet on her a few times. But she was a total bitch to him so he got pissed off and stoped liking her

What annoyed me was that the Rock soldiers wheren't used enough (in particular General Tragg) in the series as well as the little robot with the lassos from season one.

The fact that the orginal gang that Rocksteady and bebop where shown with in season one where never shown or mentioned again, even though they where shown being mutated and then demutated at one point, or locked up in a prison thingy.

the fact that they never had any good make out scenes just kidding

Traag never even got a good episode until season 6 "Rock Around the Block"
And I hated how he just ran away at the end he totally could have handed the turtles shells to them.

Yeah, it just seemed like the turtles were up against so much during the entirety of season one which is why it's so awesome! That's why I like the end of Season 3 because it's like they're up against a lot again. I like those armageddon-like episodes where there's so much going on.

Can't wait for the new DVD set because I think seasons 6 and 7 at least had more dire situations for them then 3-5 really did.

This applies to all TMNT universes, not just the OT: There is almost never any random pedestrians on the streets unless they play a role in the plot, and the turtles never run into anyone on the roof tops.

Some times in the later seasons of the old toon there are people in the streets or even in episodes like gadget man.
But yeah it's really odd, it's nyc for christ sakes! I think it's just them being lazy and not wanting to draw tuns of people..I know I wouldn't lol

Yeah, but that was at the point where it was no big deal at all if anyone saw them.

Yeah, which I really didn't at all because some people would still freak out when they saw them and other times it was like omg it's the TMNT yay!!!

Yeah I didn't think of that one it's been years since I've watched the movies since I refuse to buy the dvd's because I know the moment I do special ones will come out right after..
But anyway about no cars in the movie, perhaps they just didn't think of it *shruggs*

Secret of the Ooze was a birthday gift
TMNT III came from good old Santa

lol yea, but if you turn your brain off it's not that bad of a movie (you still won't wanna watch it again for a year or so), but you'll still wanna choke Feldman for being sucha garbage Donatello.

He's not my problem, I just can't look pst the non-henson crappy costumes..and lack of itneresting characters.
The movie should have been about Renet and Savanti and toss in Shoate for good measure.

I keep getting more and more curious about TMNT III. I've avoided it for years now, but after the AVGN review I kind of want to see it again.

Well, if you can learn to ignore the goofy sound effects, annoying dialogue and non-Henson costumes, you'll see that it has some merit. Same goes for The Next Mutation, but they have about five times as many goofy sound effects and annoying dialogues per minute.

Back on-topic (or "OT" as it were)... Another thing I can say really bugged me about the classic 'toon is the fact that the first season was the best on average. With ten years of trying, you'd think they could manage another season not weighed down by unimpressive of irritatingly patronizing episodes. I swear, sometimes I felt like I was watching PBS. >_<

I hated, in season 4 they did these "Turtle of the week" epiosdes were one turtle was in the spotlight, usually fighting some strange crazy scientist. I know they used Shredder and Krang alot, but in the end, the episodes without them were just boring... In season 4 and 5 it's just every other episode featuring Shredder and Krang, and those were the only episodes of season 4 and 5 that were any fun to watch..
