Hopefully my personal project will get some interest generated (it's already got some non- and casual TMNT fans looking at it with some favour), but I can only go so far with a fan game.

I get your point here, but I don't get what we're supposed to do! I did defend Laird in my last post a bit, but I do agree that he's stubborn as hell and doesn't like to address fans' criticisms. I just don't see how management could possibly ever change at Mirage. Laird has participated in implementing a lot of things for fans recently, too--like the new comics, new toon, new movie, etc. so I must give him credit there. But it seems that whenever Laird gets criticized he just puts up walls and avoids the issue.

Okay, fair. Sorry, I know it was you who got this info. It's just that Rose's blog took a very finalist stance on it, so it left a stronger impression on me, so I asked her, since for some reason she knows who you were talking to. But no, I don't want anyone's career harmed, no way.

I wasn't saying it's canceled, I'm saying past that point they have no idea if it will or will not be around still.
All I said was there was no news on Tales ending, I wasn't saying it was definitely not cancelled, I just meant, there's no word that it's cancelled yet so there's no point assuming that aspect of TMNT is dead. And Tristan was who I was referring to when I spoke of the good ideas for Tales coming up. Of course we just learned that added info from him that he has a Tales issue planned for 2010, but he sure didn't seem to think, in previous posts, that either the Tales or the TMNT are dying.

It also strikes me as very odd that I've just handed in the script for next November's comics, and heard from Gary not two days ago about what is going on next year involving publishing, and people are telling me the comics are canceled.
Sure seemed as if you are since your agreeing with some one who was, but anyway if not my bad.
People are getting confused by what Peter stated about Volume 4 coming to and end, even with him saying that it takes him so long just to do one issue that it will be 2010 before it's over lol

Exactly, I have allot of respect for Peter I really do, no lie.
But even though he doesn't have to, he should at least take into consideration the people who are buying his things, not flipping them off and telling them screw you mine mine mine.

Good, I'm glad you realize that, the lives of real people are more important to me than one cartoon show.

I can say with 100% certainty that Vaughn and I are dealing with two completely different people.

Just curious, but what does anyone hope to accomplish by stirring up all this trouble right now? To have productiion of any and all TMNT products abandoned before May?

Yup, I'm wondering if I should delete what I've said before Laird reads it.

Well Rooish, you've discovered the catch 22, which is a good first step. The only thing I can suggest for now is don't fall into the trap of blaming anyone else.

This is the credit people need to STOP giving him. Get over these things; they are all in the past and fan service was not a motivation for really any of it. The idea of fan service got the balls rolling again, but that's really where it stops.

Yes. And this also ties in to why Mirage is so poorly managed.

(Sorry if this ends up being a double post.)

Hiding from the "ALMIGHTY LAIRD" only lets him get away with killing the TMNT that much longer. Everyone really needs to stop blatantly kissing his ass.

Your game sounds pretty sweet; I just read the site. Love that little pic you have of Mike jumping, from the back of that old Mirage comic.

And listen guys it's not my intention to bring everyone down and cry ooo boo hoo TMNT is going away.
I'm posting a bit of information given to me that there has been no sign of another season.
I mean seriously though don't take my word for any of this, have a look around you and how this property is being handled.
