No kidding, Goonga. I'd have gotten them the first time -- without hesitation -- had they sported that simple difference!

yup i agree. i will be buying 4-6 of them at least. i am not THAT bummed by a lack of a base if that is what is needed. i WOULD like a bigger street for a REAL rumble haha

this, for me, is some of the BEST news to come out of toyfair. i am SOO happy that they are still coming out.

it is a shame that they didnt do as well over seas but i am surprised that it was THAT much of a factor.

The thing is, I'd like to get multiples of April and Shredder now, not only because they also come with Army Builders, but because I've got customs in mind for them.... so NECA's getting a LOT of my money if these do indeed release!

You might be right... but that'd be pretty creatively bankrupt. Cartoon versions of the Mirage action figures?

I'm willing to sacrifice creativity in Wave 1 in order to get a Wave 2.

What better way to get random casual fans to buy Shredder than to offer what will easily be mistaken as "Krang" as a bonus?

The Utrom is a little accessory. A Shredder Elite is a whole other figure.

Cute. I meant I wanted the utrom to come with the Elite.

Goongasnootch: good point. Ah well, off to my resin casting kit....

Apparently BBTS has the new figures available for preorder:

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...35&mode=retail

The first wave figures are up for preorder as well, so it looks like they'll be getting a rerelease! Man, that's a lot of money to be spending on TMNT figures...

This news pisses me off. No bases? Lame. More exclusives? Lame. I'm sorry I don't feel I should have to travel to a comic convention to acquire an action figure and I also don't find it fair I'd have to buy it off scalpers on Ebay for twice what it cost.

AHEM!

That's an Utrom. It comes with Shredder.

And I may be in the minority, but I don't rightly care about bases. I have all of my figures, Playmates and NECA, next to each other on shelves, so I don't have room for bases.

I like the bases, but these are just reused from the Turtles. Unless it's a new base, I wouldn't care if they dropped it.

oh. ok.. an Utrom, not Krang.. close but no cigar, still hard to tell from picture.. The bases would be cool if they were new and different and actual had some thing to do with the character.. I felt the Turtles bases provided a backdrop for them and resembled the comic book scenery which was fun..

I don't mind if they don't have bases. I plan on having them hanging from various places anyway. I would, however, like some sort of background for them. I love the displays they have/had at the different shows. I wish I could make something like that, but I don't even know where to start.

I am not one person that easily rages over Message Board stupidity counting I've been using them for 10 years now.

However you guys are still bitching? OMFG I hate to insult people who I've enjoyed reading/talking to them in the past but you guys need to seriously need to quit whining so much.

I do recall people not liking Shredder too much and complaining that they were all the same sculpt basically and I can understand people wanting bases. However.....The thing that did it for me is the whole bitching and whining that has been going on for months about no NECA series 2, and now we are apparently getting it and you guys keep at it.

I always liked the TMNT Fandom but I think after this I no longer like it at all. You guys have been spoiled too much and throw tantrums if you don't get things the way you want it. Tons of fandoms would love to get the treatment the turtles get. And this is coming from a person who likes to whine about things we aren't getting. However you guys made it tedious and annoying.

I may have overreacted but god damn, seeing half of the posts of this new hope being negative pissed me off. To be cautious though just because something is on pre-order doesn't mean it'll come out BBTS and other similar sites have done it in the past... And yeah Utrom with Foot Elite would have made sense for army building but counting I'm likely to only get Shredder/April and maybe a foot I prefer Shredder having the Utrom.
--------------------

Different colored April Trenchcoats? I think we can assume Yellow trenchcoat April

Hopefully they'd also release variant bandannas of series 1 for free money, its a no brainer, they'd sell a lot better than the red bandannas for obvious reasons.

And Yeah, I don't care about you Mirage elitists, I'll custom the turtles if I have to with color bandanas and April for a yellow trench coat and the Utrom Shredder has will be Krang to me.

I always waited for what I assumed would be the obvious variant of colored bandannas as well. And now that I gave up on them I can only find the four pack.

Just a question, what extra things do the individual turtles have that the 4-pack doesn't?

I don't know I'm just SO unsure if I should go ahead and pick up the 4-pack of suck it up and pay a lot more for a few extras....

If you frequent figure message boards and even if you don't and just register on the moment. There are usually very nice people who buy exlusive figures from events like comic-con for forum members, that way all you pay is the figure cost and shipping. Thats how I've gotten a few exclusives before, its simple and awesome that some guys who do it for the community.
