Leatherhead had a western stage in turtles in time, which of course proves nothing...

Back on Krang being a boss, dunno how much possible is this, but giant Krang from '87 season 1 would make sense as a final boss.

You know what I just thought of? The games' catch phrase is "Who else will join the brawl?"

I'm thinking that they are suggesting more cross-over type characters that are typically crossed-over with the Turtles:

- Cerebus: his level is the medieval castle level. In issue #8 of TMNT, the turtles help Cerebus invade a castle very similar to the one in this game.

- Usagi Yojimbo: His level is the Feudal Japan temple.

- Cudley Cowlick: Western level. Nuff said.

Plus, all 3 of these characters are weapon-wielders, which fits nicely with the rest of the characters.

The only other characters I could think of would be The Flaming Carrot.

Do you think they would add more characters or stages to the game without showing it on the site?

Okay, n00bish question here but how is it possible to make Cudley the Cowlick a fighter? I don't remember much about him other than vague memories I had of reading the Archie comics but isn't he a disembodied cow head? How would that work?

I ask this because again, I know little about him but people have said that he's appeared in some of the newer TMNT comics and mention that he might be a possible fighter for the Wild West stage.

Also, when was a medieval castle shown as a stage in this game? The closest I remember to there being one was the Enemy Base.

I might be partly to blame for that misunderstanding. A while back I tried guessing what each stage was in the Smash-Up video that the Rabbids first appeared in. One looked like a medieval castle against a moonlit sky, but that stage turned out to be the Rabbid's Garbage Dump stage.

Actually, there was a medieval castle level... AND a Garbage Dump level.

Oh, where did you see that? All the stages that I know of so far are right here.

Well this is new: http://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant.../dp/B001VJ843O

Maybe now people will shut up about the Rabbids? (Though they might raise hell about the Technodrome now)

So is this going to be a code unique to each person who buys the game, or something that will be online within a day and usable by anyone? The second option seems more likely.

*preorders*[/kidding]

So, remind me. How many characters have been verified now? The game's official site shows 13 of 20. I know two of those spots are going to damn rabbids... that I fully intend to ninja kick. Anyone else though?

Those two rabbits are possibly just one rabbit with an alternate costume. And since it will be only for the people who preorders the game, it's very likely it won't take any of the 20 slots.

I hope that technodrome mode doesn't mean that we won't have the technodrome level.

So now there are 3 types of Rabbids verified for the game. Does this mean that 3 of those 7 are f__ken Rabbids!?

Note, that their weapons are totally different... so it may be more than just a skin.

Where's the third rabbid?

Oh wait, it's a new one on amazon.com, right? Well, that doesn't look too good...

I'm laughing at people who were actually excited about this.

A new Q&A on the game went up yesterday http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/t...7/m/1091053487

Of note:

Quote:
1. What can we expect to hear for the background music/What will the game score be like?

A. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up features all new music composed by the developer, GameArts. Don’t worry, just because it’s all-new doesn’t mean it won’t have that TMNT vibe we all know and love.
Well... this is going to make a few people cry, seeing as how that basically was what Re-Shelled's music was (all new stuff with slight similarities to previous music).

Quote:
3. Will there be a possibility to switch off the glowing that surrounds the characters?

A. Yes, there is an option to switch off the glow around the characters if you want.
I don't know how many times this has been confirmed, but if you haven't heard about it by now, here it is.

Quote:
4. How many characters do you start off with and how many do you have to unlock?

A. You’ll start off the game with seven characters available. As for how many are available to unlock, you don’t really want us to ruin the surprise do you?
Any guess on the seven starters? I'm thinking Don/Mike/Raph/Leo/Splinter/Shredder/April, the first seven revealed.

Quote:
9. Why was the game cover design changed from the one with Leo and Raph to the current one?

A. The cover you’re referring to with Leonardo and Raphael facing each other was just a concept cover. It was never meant to be the final cover.
I thought this was pretty obvious since it was just an adaptation of that Nintendo Power cover.

I hear they are changing the name of the game to "Rabbids Brawl: with TMNT cameo"

Yeah, that would probably piss me off. If 4 of the Rabbids are actually based off the Ninja Turtles (the one holding the spatulas is based off Raphael and is available through Amazon's pre-order), PLUS Raving Rabbid and Splinter Cell-Rabbid ("Bunny Fisher" is his official name).
