I cannot say enough about this film. I really can't. It's beyond perfect in almost every way, though I share the same concern that many of you do that they overdid the goof factor of the OT just a tad much for my tastes.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for the pizza monster though.

The Mirage Turtles were epic in ways I can hardly describe. Though I would have preferred at least their masks have been colored so we could have seen them all in red.

I'm still laughing my butt off over who saves the day in the end. Best, most unexpected thing ever. I can't wait to see what all we missed out on when I see the Director's Cut version via the 4Kids Stream.

For anyone that's interested, I did a huge two-part review for my blog, feel free to take a look.

I really didn't know where to mention this. I was rewatching Turtles Forever Part 3 today and they showed a promo afterward for the "Christmas Aliens" rerun next week. And that's when I noticed the Viacom trademark note already present in small print at the bottom of the screen. That was fast.

Awesome. Those boneheads haven't re-ran that episode once (as far as I know, and if they did it wasn't around the holidays).

Mutant bowling bowls? Weird. Mutant pizza? Okay, that's maybe feasable. Mutant leprechauns? LEPRECHAUNS? That's where I draw the line.

Would it have killed them to use monsters from the actual show? Cement Man? The REAL Pizza monsters? The electricity monster?

Seriously, I wouldn't have minded the other monsters, but the leprechauns pissed me off.

I find the leprechauns as a reference to the old toon episode 'The Great Boldini' where that Scottish officer called the guys "Teenage Mutant Ninja Leprechauns".

Ummm... definitely not. That was coincidence, if you can even call it that. There was no leprachauns in the episode, they were just being racist by having the Irish fella think everything green was a leprachaun.

I just think they were making fun of the 80s toon being so goofy that they made stupid bad guys. It was just a cheap shot.

It will be. It'll probably just take way longer than it should, since Nick just bought the property and they're still in "transition phase".

I just watched Turtles:Forever!

I was wondering how Turtles:Forever would be this whole time. I watched it like a week after all parts were aired. Here's what I think....it was actually better than I thought! My favorite parts were when the 2k3 Shredder said that there were scores of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and it showed like almost every single version of the turtles! I was just jumping up and down like when I was 5, watching the original 80's toons!(seriously!) The story did build up, and the idea was really good! I also loved when the Mirage Turtles appeared, and the end when they re-created when Peter and Kevin were creating the turtles! While I was watching this movie, I just thought to myself: "Oh man, the turtles were huge, and have changed so much!" I kind of regret not keeping up with Fast Foward and BTTS when I saw all of the turtle versions in the Technodrome scene. I just felt that I should have gave it a chance, even if I did not like the direction the show was going because it's still the "Turtles"! I wanted to see how the 2k3 style became newer afterwards. I was also thinking just how big and awesome the turtles of the past were! Sometimes I think that the TMNT of this generation is not going anywhere but really it's not going anywhere because I'm not giving it a chance. The turtles of today are just as awesome as the turtles of the past 25 years! Oh man............25 years of TMNT! It just hit me! The turtles are gonna stick with me Forever!

p.s: I thought the one true shredder was the shredder in the lost season. and did the 2k3 shredder get defeated forever?
and....when will the turtles:forever dvd come out?! i want it!!
Plzzzz post and reply to this thread!

Yeah it was weird. It makes sense for Ch'rell to refer to himself as the one true Shredder but for the turtles to hear that and not think about the lost season one... weird.

And the DVD has not been announced yet.

It means Viacom is still in the process of getting situated.

The next season was supposed to be The Shredder Wars (a scene of the "not-too-distant future" The Turtles visited in the first episode of TMNT: Back to the Sewer). Likely, it was supposed to show Ch'rell defeating both Tengu & Cyber Shredders (or, at least, he thought so), so he just assumed the title. Where else would he have heard the phrase anyway? It was never even said in the show before his banishment to the ice-asteroid.

Since there's only a one-in-a-billion chance we'll ever see an official follow-up to this adventure, that's up to the viewer to decide.

That officer made that episode great!

As a reference to that episode though...no.

Because they hear Ch'rell call himself that and Hun was announcing it the only one who has worked for Ch'rell in the past.
