Not a bad deal, considering that Halfcourt is semi-rare...

HotSpot, low starting bid (considering how rare this figure is)

A rather random lot that someone out there might be interested in:

Its got whacky action! Its got bootlegs! Its got bathplugs! All MOC! I'd buy it myself, only i'm concentrating on art and comics these days. Works out to about £3.00 per item, which is not bad, I thought...

I'm pretty sure I've run into two of these in my own collection within the last week. Willing to give anyone here a deal for $75.

I think I had to trash it when I moved out of my parents' house because it got so beat up, but the very first one of those I got for $1 at a dollar store where they had TONS of them. Of course, that was the early 90s.

The dollar store was a treasure trove of Turtles goodies back in the day. I picked up a bunch of Hero Turtles books from the same one. And a knitting book...

Now is this at the height of their popularity or when that died down alittle?

Oh goodness, I'm guessing, but maybe 1992? They would have been sliding out of the height of their popularity, but they were still popular enough.

But current popularity doesn't really mandate what you do and don't find in a dollar store; it's all about buying a huge quantity of a product for a huge discount, and a lot of times these are products that have simply run their course in regular retail chains. When I was in college in the late 90s the dollar store in the mall had a bin full of brand new Coming Out of Their Shells Tour cassettes, complete with the sticker telling you to watching them on Pay-Per-View.

Rose, I remember seeing those posters at the dollar store all the time back in the day. Alas, I never picked one up, though! I did get the "coming out of their shells" tour cassette tape at the dollar store, though!

Ah yes, those were definitely the days!

Here's a good buy for anyone who likes foreign variants:

Les Tortues Ninja - La Riviere (The River TPB in French)

Print quality is really high, and the cover features brand new wrap-around art. And it's actually bigger than just wrap-around art - it continues into the fold-out back flap.

Heh, that made me laugh out loud. Probably because, when I was reading through, Vaughn's question made me think - "Well, its in French." Then I read that reply. Heh.
