Agreed...he, as a character, believed he was 'the one true shredder'.
That doesn't mean he IS 'the one true shredder'. |

I don't think anyones mentioned this before but the 4kids turtles bandanas are so ugly in Turtles Forever... they look like shiny rubber or something. The weird thing is, they didn't look like that in FF or BttS.

I noticed but assumed they were like that in ff and/or btts cause I hadn't seen either of the two at the time. I've since bought the ff seasons but hadn't noticed they werent shiny there.

That's weird. There's no reason in the world their bandannas should be shiny.

No one noticed this before? O_o Obviously, it was a creative decision to differentiate the sets of Turtles a little more (and make the 4kids versions look a bit more ritzy/pimp/whatever). Still, I could excuse that. It's the fact that the excess past the knot looked like 4' shoestrings that drives me up a wall. >_<

I've noticed this, and I think that I even brought this up somewhere else too. And yeah BTTS did have the shininess, they even had it on there knee pads, wristbands, and elbow pads. I don't know but I dug the shine.

They've been shiny since Back to the Sewer. How did people not notice?
Every single piece of fabric in Back to the Sewer is shiny, without exception. I was never a fan of it. |

No. No BttS shinyness. Forever shinyness. BttS pupilyness only. Unga bunga.

I was too distracted by the butt-kicking action and hilarious dialogue to notice the shinyness of the bandannas!

Looks like the belts and pads were shiny in BttS already though, so it's almost like they forgot the masks and then thought 'Oh yeah!' for Forever or something.
The shinyness irks me a bit, but I'll take shiny masks over them with the pupils anyday...for some reason it just looks wrong to me, even though the classic series versions' look just fine with pupils.

I did see shiny masks in BTTS. Maybe it was only in certain episodes that they did it.

Flashback episodes aren't the best when it comes to representing an entire season.
Anyways, I watched the movie again yesterday... I love it more every time. |
