I just had a thought - in issue 1, when Shredder showed up, didn't he come with a crapload of Foot ninja in tow?

Question is, where were they when he showed up in Forever? What'd they do, sit back and watch their master get beaten (by trash cans no less), watch what appeared to be their master grow into a giant, and fight 12 giant turtles, a giant rat, some ninja lady, and ANOTHER of their master?

'Do you think we should join the fight man?'
'Forget that! We're getting the heck out of here - this ninja business is crazy!'

One thing to remember is that in issue 1, the Turtles actively sought out Shredder and he had the Foot waiting for them. In Turtles Forever, they were already occupied with the other turtles and Shredder sought them out. Doesn't really mesh but it's the only explanation.

True, and it's not like there was really room there for a huge showdown with a bunch of Foot ninja before the final battle either, without making the film longer anyhow. I dunno why I never noticed it before though.

Well in the comic, Shredder jumps down and eventually says "Foot! Join Me". He never has a chance to say this in Turtles Forever, so that's why you didn't see them. Then after he falls, they probably **** their pants because there's 12 turtles and a floating Technodrome, and their master is apparently down for the count... I woulda ran too.

I'm just now realizing how much more awesome it would have been to have a team of mute Mirage-Foots joining in the final brawl. Hey, they don't want their world erased either, right?

This is why I really wish a game had come out of this idea as well, instead of Smash-Up. A game could have extended the storyline a bit without making it clunky or something - could have spent more time in the OT world and the Mirage world both, and maybe even something with them visiting some other worlds after they get zapped out of the Technodrome.

It's only a 90 minute time-slot, so I sincerely doubt it's any more uncut than the 'one time only' airing we saw a few months back. Can't hurt (much) to hope though.

Is it a full 90 minute slot? What I mean is, are we sure this isn't a re-airing of the 3-part version, one after another? Seems like that could be a possibility too, albeit pointless to do really.

ZAP2it is showing it as one 90 minute long program. They've never shown back-to-back multi-parters as a single program before, but that's no guarantee. There's a first time for everything.

Ohh ok. I figure it probably is just the time-cut feature version, because there's no point in showing the episode versions back to back when they have that, I just wanted to mention that it's a possibility.

Though, I almost wouldn't mind if they did, I'd like to see a compiled list of what's not in that version that's in the cut feature one, or make it myself.
