I like the concept, man, but the actual design doesn't seem much different from the Playmates toy. Don't get me wrong, it looks pretty good! I just think you could incorporate more Donny into this design. Good art, though.

This isn't mine, but it was made by a former Dromer here and a good friend of mine, Masked Ninja.

Just figured it would inspire people to draw me more if they wanted. That is, if it's not too late.

Two questions I've always though could be interesting to flesh out about Slash's origin:
1. What actions or experiences have made him so jaded against the world?
2. What significance does the "Binky" hold for his life?

Have you even looked at the title of this thread? This is a SLASH redesign, not a BEN redesign. My brain cannot even fathom you right now.

I really like Slash having a yellow eye, since mine was almost "naked" I homaged it giving him yellowish eyes, and a palm tree tattoo.

@Benvenuto... this one is about Slash, and as you can see... Irma is winning for the next one... but great art, I like it, but will not be considered a sub OK?

I voted on your character but I see that people want to see "Irma"... perverts.

I know I know. This was the lesser original of my two concepts. I thought the belt gave a nod to Donnie, but I should have put the shoulder strap and maybe a retractable Bow, showing that Slash fights with all the TMNT's weapons. I did another sketch of Slash if he were combined with Tokka (design-wise not personality wise) but having the same back story as the original slash. I thought I'd get to finish it by yesterday but it was not to be. I'll post it along with a terrible Irma redesign.
BTW Your redesign is awesome as usual.

Koschei, I dig the style. He looks really solid and heavy, like if he punched you it would be like getting hit by a brick wall.

Not sure how crazy I am about the boots. They look Triceraton-esque, am I right? But overall I really like it. Nice work!

I second that "brick wall" comment!
That's the general feeling I get from your Slash, Koschei. I don't think the turtles would be able to put a dent on him!

Cartoonistaaron, your Slash is so cartoony it looks like he came straight out of a Looney Tunes cartoon. It's either the facial expression or the pose. Either way, it's awesome. XD
