or a better idea, just bid on the auction any way, win and then force the seller to ship outside the US! lol!

I had a buyer try that and filed a complaint against the buyer through ebay. Maybe if there weren't so many international buyers trying to scam sellers by claiming they never received their item you'd see more sellers willing to ship international.
I was scammed twice shipping outside the USA and will never do so again.

you both bring up valid points. it's unfortunate the way some people abuse Ebay. it ruins it for the rest of us honest folks.

when i see items that i want and they're listed as "shipment to US only" i watch the items, then after a few days, if there's zero bids on the item i ask the seller once the auction ends would they be willing to ship to me, and they either tell me yes, go ahead and bid and if i win then they'll ship to me or they simply say "no thanks" and leave it at that

The Leonardo bust from '92 by Farley is up on ebay too. Sorry if this may have been posted already. I haven't seen it a few pages back so far.

The bid was mine

Thankfully, the dashboard seller allowed me to wait till today to pay him (my birthday) and between the giftcards from my wife and my other family members, I only ended up paying a little over $20 for both items myself

While I understand that price is steep, they are indeed very rare (this being the third one I have seen personally). Additionally, as I have said before; being that this was the very last item I needed to complete my collection, the cost is well worth it to me.

That was me who put in the $460 bid. I knew it was you Archon after reading your prior posts about wanting to find Raphael. I'm a HUGE collector of these 'Wrestling Buddies' type dolls and didn't know the TMNT ones existed until I saw this auction. I'm noted as a high bidder on Ebay when I see something I really want, the sky is the limit. I've only been outbid twice! LOL. Congrats, you won it fare and square. I should have bid higher though. Since then, I have acquired two of the Practice Pals. Still looking for Raph though, lol. How long did it take for you to find them all?

Dude, I ain't out to make enemies. A little competition is alright but, I'm just a huge collector of the Wrestling Buddies type dolls and of course, am a big fan of the Turtles as well ; ) These collections, I will have forever and take to my grave. They mean that much to me.

Haha, I was joking around. But I remember I had some of the wrestling buddies as a youngin', like the hulk hogan one. And I feel like the same way about my Turtle collection : ). But good luck to the both of us on finding the rest of the practice pals, these things are a pain in the arse...

Haha, this is a little bit ironic, if you think about it... my favorite Turtle is Leonardo and yours is Michelangelo and we both have those Practice Pals!
