Weird, only $5 shipping in the US. I love Mysterycolor. Besides, she doesn't set the international shipping fees, ebay/USPS do (I think).

It's possible the same weight is used for International shipping on all auctions giving you the high number. I personally don't do business with this seller either, but I would contact them and see if a flat rate box (like $16) could be used. From experience I can say shipping overseas from the U.S. is ruh-tarded expensive!

Oh don't get me started on shipping overseas. It's actually a point to where you'll find a lot of people refusing to do it because it's so much of a hassle.

And mysterycolor is the s**t. She's my primary supplier now.

Well....I had a little experience about this:

I must say: if I want badly an item I agree always the shipping cost overseas without any doubt no matter how much seller ask!...One of my last auctions was won by less than 2$ and shipping was about more than 30$ for two regular cards in a letter!... I accept it as part of the deal, thats all...

I know sometimes Ebay post the automatic costs/fees, and they are not according to the real shipping cost: I had deal with super-honest sellers than send me a partial refund even when I didnt ask for it! (Because I accepted even those high shipping cost!)..I remember a nice girl that sold me a great TMNT Art cel , shippment was 36$ and she refund me almost the half of total!!! Top Stars honest seller!!...Its not so expensive send to Europe...

In other cases I prefer ask another guy (for example a forum member) in USA to buy it for me and resend me ! Believe me its much more cheaper even with a small extra for middle-man!!!! So those shipping cost at ebay are actually overprice!

Some times other sellers ask for a so very high shipping cost because they dont actually want send overseas!...I had seen that advice in ebay forums USA!!!...

...Come on! Its not so bad send internationally!! Not so different in my opinion to send in USA from East Coast to West Coast.... Lots of sellers do it everyday without problem! I wonder why some sellers are so afraid of send overseas!!????

Well: Everybody can check my nice ebay-feedback I had bought from every place worldwide without any problem: including Italy and China (countries usually with a red point! for sellers and buyers!)... Probably the most cheap item in relation with distance was from Australia: some TMNT stickers! Seller must was very surprise for a request from another corner of world !!! Everything was OK!...

...Opinions, please??

I bought most of my collection in USA and around the world by ebay this year and I never let a seller play on shipping fees, if it sounds too much I wait he check the real fees. I'm always a satisfied customer now cause they know I know the price.

Let me tell you why.

I just lost 135$ on ebay as a seller because the buyer claims that he didnt receive the package. He is in asia where the only way to track a package is to buy EMS. The EMS is usually 45~75$ for something worth let's say 50$. The buyer refused to use EMS as a method of shipment and when they didnt get the item they WANT the full refund.

"Hey i never get the package. Give me my money back u little thief!! I DONT CARE what ur story is, i didnt get the package. Im filling up a paypal claim and gettin my money back."

"upon paypal committe's decision, your money is FULLY refunded to XXXX, we are truly sorry about the inconvinences and hope u still choose paypal as ur future business partner."

Also u have to spend time fillin out the annoyin custom forms.

Im fuc-kin goin to charge crazy fees on whoever tryin to buy from me internationally on ebay, or i will just simply not goin to deal w them.

Yes, I see...that must be the reason for a red point to Asian and other countries...I only have experience as buyer...I had never sell on ebay!....I understand thats a steal for a seller...you lost the item and the money!!...

PS: Also a 20 minutes ago I had bought and pay a new in packet set for 9,99$ I must ask before shipping cost, and seller was online and asked me in a few minutes! , and it was only from USA 5,65$ !!! ....! So cool for me!...

Yea u got ur money back on those "couple" deals but we lost the items plus our own shipping.

That is why no one wants to deal w overseas after a while.

I think it depends on the country. I have received every item I ordered from USA. I think you can ship to Spain without problems.
