IDW multi-colored masks

The colors only bother me as to me they signify a more childish toned Turtles like the shows and the red was the more adult. I'm sure that wont be the case with this comic but that's honestly way it bothers me.

As I said in the Raphael topic, I just now got and finished my issue. I don't see multicolor bandanas, I see Raphael wearing red and three turtles wearing purple.

Is this honestly what the whole recent uproar was about?

They're multi-colored mate. Tristan practically confirmed it as well. We're not debating a mass delusion here.

In color blindness its pretty much unheard of to be able to see red but not any of its variations (orange, yellow, etc...). Still id see a eye dr. cuz this thread is a hell of a way to find out something might be wrong.

I don't see why it matters either way. If they keep the red bandannas then they pay homage to the old stuff which is cool, if we get the colored masks then we can actually know which character is which without having to have eastman spoon feed readers names within the dialogue.

If weapons, personality, skin tone, belt style, & so on aren't enough of a clue to you as to who's who, then just quit while you're ahead.

Well, that's one factor. But hardly what should be considered the chief motivating factor behind doing so.

Though I dunno... there's some weird eye/color perception stuff out there. It's hard to describe, but my left eye sees colors differently than my right one. Always has. To use the Photoshop equivalent... it's like my left eye has the hue turned up a little bit and the saturation a little bit down.

I wouldn't necessarily rule out that Toby is literally not seeing the other colors there, especially if they're kinda subdued.

Meanwhile, I still don't have the goddamn issue to even venture an opinion of my own. Now I'm being told next week.

I'm not moron, I know their weapons and variations on the characters. I just noticed the names constantly being stated within dialogue between the turtles. Almost in an unnecessary fashion. I have been away from the old comics for a while so excuse my ignorance if this is always the case within tmnt comics.

Well dude, it worked for Mirage/Image for over 25 years in their black and white comics. I don't see why we should stop now just because it's in color.

Yeah, after closer examination, I did notice hints of blue and purple in Leo and Don's masks... After seeing how dark they look in the Infestation cameo, I wonder if that's how they will be portrayed, with real dark, almost black, Blue and Purple bandanas.
