Apparently multi-tasking isn't for me.

But anyways, when will reruns hit Nicktoons? Has that been announced?

Nobody has a confirmed month yet, we've only been told fall. So I guess that means either September or October, possibly even early November.

I am craving to watch something new, especially when that something new is TMNT! I wonder when Nick is going to begin advertising the hell out of its premiere?

My guess is: in the future. I'm usually right about these things.

Based on what we have heard I think the show will have the same tone as 2007 TMNT movie, with the turtles facing serious bad guys like the Shredder but still be doing jokes and eating pizza. It would be funny that in the show the turtles have never eaten pizza before since they have lived underground their whole lives and when april gives them some they instainly become hooked on it. Also, with Rob Paulsen voicing Donny, he will properly make him serious when explaining or building something and act goofy around april

I disagree. I've read a lot about Pizza and high emphasis on mutants. I imagine it'd be closer to the OT in tone. Or at least 2k3.
TMNT was just a pretentious wannabe-dark crapfest.

Donny's the tallest, because people associate being smart or dorky with tall gaukiness for some reason, when this is just a stale stereotype. Go figure Mikey's the shortest, because he's the "youngest" and probably eats the most, and is the laziest, therefore giving more life into that stereotype: the younger, lazy, shorter, video game brother. It's just predictable. I've never seen an incarnation where Leonardo is the tallest, or Raphael the shortest, etc.

Jester, I eagerly await PL's thoughts!
I like the change. When the turtles first appeared they had the same headband color, but different weapons. Now we see them with different colored headbands and stand out in their own way. Their height change shouldn't be something to be mad at. This makes them more unique than before because they used to be the same height. It like getting mad over the third toe: it's not a big deal.

Donnie's right though, it's change for the sake of change. It doesn't exactly make them more unique in the cartoon world 'cause it's an easy route.

The creators said that Shredder would not be like his 1987 verision and that he would be the scariest verision yet. The turtles will also be using their weapons unlike the old show. Also, TMNT may not be like the live action 1990 movie, but it's still better than Secret of the Ooze and TMNT 3.

Since more of the IDW comic origin has now been revealed, I'm wondering about the Nick origin and if the 2 will share any similarities or be completely separate? For the Nick cartoon - we already know Yoshi=Splinter. It seems kind of odd that the 2 would be wildly different.....

Quite aware of all of that, but my statement still stands. Believe me unless you work for Nick you're not telling me anything I don't know.
Also you should be locked in a cage for saying TMNT is better than ANY other turtles media. I'd rather watch Turtle Tunes while bound & gagged.
