Yeah. Not so much the facial expressions, but maybe the bandanas? Yeah, the back of the bandanas kinda remind me of Don's twirly in the back, haha.

here are some pics from TNI.

if you look at the vehicles, you'll notice the figures are "package fresh" meaning they havent been repainted as the initial press release photos. they still look great but you'll notice the skin is soley the color of the plastic WITHOUT any washes or drybrushing and the metal ring holding don's strap together is not silver.

man that turtle van is cool as hell!

I'm glad someone said it, the name for long time fans is dumb if not rude.
He might as well just call us sh1t heads.

I like the April figure a bit more after seeing a full body shot of it, but not by much. So are all the characters on this new show going to have legs that resemble Popeye's arms? The one benefit to that is that the figures will be pretty easy to stand, but for April, it just looks like she's wearing the clunkiest pair of uggs ever. I also can't tell if they gave her figure a waist joint, but I really hope they did.

The Foot Soldier looks a lot like the movie version, which I like I guess, but I guess that also means they aren't robotic ninjas .... Oh well, at least they've gone back to using the Foot Clans footprint symbol as opposed to the three-clawed one from the 2k3 series .

If they stick to the plan robot foot soldiers come into play in the show down the line.

I wis the Foot were more articulated. Seems Playmates is at it again: highly articulated Turtles, "Big 5" articulation for everyone else.

I wish I could say I do, I saw some there though I'm not the best at guessing sizes. The ones I saw looked small, personally I'm hoping those were not the action figures but a demo look of them. Wish we were allowed photos.

I did a write up on my thoughts of the Nickelodeon Action Figure set on Cowabunga Corner for anyone interested. These writes up are just my views of what we're seeing with these photos and videos that have been released.

It could be like the NECA figures that the shell is a separate piece to the body, Also let us not forget that the company is Playmates toys, as we all know they mess up a lot.

Some things i definately dislike:

Shredder: Torso and legs too big, arms too thin and small.
April: too young!
Krang's android body: too skinny looks weak (although nice level of detail)
Splinter: Weird face paint!

On the other hand, the turtles look AWESOME!!! *_* (except for the three toes! ¬¬ why did they add another?)

Regarding toon turtles, i think its the colour palette that makes'em look like like those..

Shredder looks ripped. April looks like a teenageer. I think the Android resembles the bots from iRobot. The android looks like a Terminator, plus its steel so that is strong anyways.

and 3 toes match the hands! I like.

I'm with you, Shredder looks way too buff. He looks more like a brutish warlord as opposed to a threatening ninja clan leader. And I can't make out if he has pupils at all.

And Krang's body needs more color! I don't care if his android body is designed to look like a more metal/realistic robot, having a figure or character that's all greyish and silver tones is booorrrriiiing...

The new show Turtles I don't care about either way, but those classic cartoon Turtles look fantastic. Except, am I allowed to complain about the belt buckle colors?

Did it occur to anyone that if the Classics line sells well, we just MIGHT get those Mirage style turtles from Playmates that wound up getting cancelled?

It seems that the biggest problem might be paperwork, since those were supposed to come out when Mirage was running the show. I honestly don't see sales for this stuff being anything but good.

April does look like a jockey, with a basketball for a head.
Looks like she and Starfire should be fighting over Robin.

I'm trying to reserve my judgement until I see the show, and the characters in action. Usually when they show the toys first I react in a "I can't believe they're going this direction" sort of way. Then I watch the show and get on board. For example, when 2k3 Splinter had gray fur instead of brown fur I was horrified. I look back now and think, "um, big deal."

That said, Splinter looks like a cross between a kangaroo and a raccoon. Of which, he has never been either.
