I wonder how much that sewer playset is gonna set me back? I gotta buy 2 of them, one for me and one for my son.

so they'll be the same size as the modern GIJOE and MARVEL UNIVERSE? or the size of the original TMNT? ^^; either way is fine.

stormbringer · 02-02-2012, 10:53 AM

Well, since April is a kid in this, her look isn't too surprising for me. Love the turtle classics and blank eyes Nick turtles. Now that new Splinter, not a bad looking figure but if they hadn't said who it was, I would have thought it was a mutant skunk.

Zog the Equalizer · 02-02-2012, 10:59 AM

The more I get a look at the classic figures from different angles, the more I'm inclined to retract my previous statements.

*Chris* · 02-02-2012, 11:08 AM

Yeah, Splinter's new look will take a bit of getting used to.

I really hope the support is there for the Classics line long term. I can see the TMNT doing very well (despite most of us agreeing there is still room for improvement) as well as the remaining core characters (Splinter, April, Shredder, Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, etc.). After that though, I'm worried how long support will last to support the line at retail. I'd love a line as diverse as MOTUC, but that line would never have survived as long at retail.

Yes there's the obvious variants of core characters based on different versions of the characters (movies, 2K3, Mirage, Image, even TNM) which we'd all love to see (and hopefully will) but what are the odds of getting a Renet or an Armaggon or Pimiko? I want a diverse line as well as the different versions of the core characters.

Now that we have seen the figures, I really want to see how the characters translation is to 3d for the show.

Anyone feel like they're hiding Donnie's gap/missing tooth? In all the posters up there and in most of the toys he has his mouth closed.

Complain away. The internet is what nitpicking was made for.

Although it's more glaring having Leo and Don have thick straps for the scabbards. I realise why they're there but initialy it struck me as "they didn't have those in the OT". Kinda use to them now though.

That's "The Kraang", not Krang. They're Shredder's henchmen.

Whatever the case may be my opinion is still the same; more color!

I wonder if there's a head Kraang, no pun intended.

It seems that the biggest problem might be paperwork, since those were supposed to come out when Mirage was running the show. I honestly don't see sales for this stuff being anything but good.

No because I think they could do better ones now in the style of Kevin Eastman.
