Not digging it. The turtles still look bad. Everything else just looks okay. The show will need some stellar writing to make up for the design short comings.

Careful, some people don't like it if you express your opinion on things that you don't love!

Yeah and they're usually hypocrites who complain just as much, if not more, about other aspects of the franchise.

I can't stop oggling at these screen grabs. I think this may turn out to be my favorite turtles "cartoon". I LOVE the designs. Seriously.

They love the designs and aesthetics. It looks great but for all we know it can still be sh*t.

Not that I think it will be, it looks soooooo goooooood.

I REALLY hope they have some kind of trailer for the show during the Kid's Choice Awards. Maybe they can show little 5-second snippets during the show and then a full 2-minute trailer at the end. Even though I went to the event at SDCC last summer, I still have no idea what the show will turn out.

It's all definitely different, but I'm open to it all. I really can't wait for this to start! I love the looks for the Boys and I'm warming up to the rest quite a bit.

I have a feeling Don's gonna be very awkward-geek-shy guy in this series...I just get that from those pictures, I mean he looks awkward even kicking that Foot ninja! Plus the gap in the tooth, lol. Don't think it's a bad thing, just saying it seems like that's where they are going with him.

They should just change his name to Billy-Bob-Atello. I appreciate what they are trying to do with him, but I don't like it.

It's a gap, not a missing tooth.

It looks like a missing tooth. I ''get'' what they are doing but it's just coming off as goofy to me.

You know I love how the Foot Soldiers look. Almost as cool as the ones from the 4kids series. I was worried they'd be goofy looking.

I like that the turtles look different from one another, and I don't mind (or care) that Don has a gap in his teeth. But I think they've succeeded in making Leo look vanilla again.

Raph - Bigger, more muscular, and is shown to have battle damage
Don - gap in his teeth, skinnier than the rest, longer limbs (?)
Mikey - freckles
Leo - ...... ?

I actually think they look cooler, no offense to the 4kids Foot (who do in fact look awesome).

Found this online, http://nickalive.blogspot.com/2012/0...e-teenage.html Still trying to see if this is true. If it is, then this is good news. I'll keep looking for more news.

This is from that article they linked to.
Quote:
The Ninja Turtles first graced in live-action form with Steve Barron's low-budget 1990 feature, and the franchise went on to spawn a further three theatrical releases, along with a live-action television show (Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation) and two subsequent animated series, the most recent of which is set to premiere in the U.S. on Nickelodeon on March 31st.
Did they just completely disregard the existence of the 2k3? It kinda sounds like it.

Maybe they meant two cartoons, and then the most recent series on Nick. Also some people don't consider CG to be "cartoons."

True, I hope that's what happened. I would hate seeing the 2k3 being forgotten.

I think it's just really bad writing that's trying to say there were two animated series and a new one is starting soon.

But I automatically disregard anything quoting the March 31 date.
