Is any one else getting tired of all these people complaining about the new show?

People are going to complain no matter what. There are those that want hard core action and those that want the kid gloves to stay on.

I went batshit crazy over the TMNT in 1989 (I was 7) and Im just glad they are being brought back.

Im not a hardcore fan, havent read all of the comics and I havent seen all of either of the 2 previous cartoon series either(did see the first two movies in theatres though)...but as long as they are teenage mutant and ninja Ill more than likely be alright with it.

Personally I dont see the need for the three toes design, but its no real biggy (wont be buying the toys though) April being a teenager doesnt bother me either, Im just happiest when they are actually "ninja fighting" preferably against Shredder and The Foot (hoping for Bebop and Rocksteady too) oh yeah gut reaction to Shredder is he looks goofy but Im guessing its power armour or something...still big calves isnt going to ruin the show for me.

Aside from the three toes, the new designs don't really bother me at all. I'm interested in how Nick is going to reinterpret the characters and plot elements in their own series. I don't think people should even begin to complain until at least after they've seen the first episode (which they will, I'm sure).

Its disheartening since such complaining lowers the buildup and excitement for the premiere. But then again, maybe that means fans shouldn't expect much when the first episode airs, and they could be pleasantly surprised when the results come out. I just don't want it to be an Extreme Ghostbusters where its aired at a lousy time and people just don't get it.

Yeah, from experience in other fandoms, any time there's lots of positive build-up before something, when it finally sees release, there's a lot of disappointment. But so much complaining just takes the joy out of it all.
