Can you be 100% sure about that?

There may be lost scripts, but not fully produced episodes.

"Shredder's In Love" by Scott Hilley was discovered online at The US Copyright Office, and subsequently verified in an interview with Renae Jacobs as being recorded for.

^ Which is likely the same as the 4kids abandoned episodes. They probably finished a script but the episode never was fully completed. Much like "Nightmares recycled" or the FF season 2 episodes.

I hope it has the three missing episodes and the rest of the season 10 episodes that haven't been on DVD before. I could really care less about the season 10 episodes that have already been out on DVD.

Why wold you want to switch DVDs just to watch Season 10 in order?

Besides I am sure this is a complete Season 10 set.

Nothing has been well organized about these releases so far, so why start now? We've had missing episodes, volume sets vs. season sets, all sorts of different cases, and so forth. As I've said before, my ideal set would be all three missing episodes and the remainder of season 10 and call it the "Final Set" or something like that. I don't care about switching discs. People rarely watch eight episodes in a row anyways. They can promote Shredder on the back cover if they include these missing episodes and that would help with sales. My main thing is I want ALL the episodes on DVD.

And that's a horrible idea. No thanks, give me the full Season 10 so I don't have to switch discs.

Thank goodness it's the most likely scenario too.

Yeah, because who would want all TMNT episodes on DVD...nothing like having an incomplete series...

I think most people prefer proper season sets in almost perfect order. Lionsgate likely doesn't even remember the season 10 eps on the first DVD.

Most of the people who grew up on Ninja Turtles have no freaking clue who Lord Dregg is. If they go to the store and see the back cover talking only about him and not Shredder, it will be an easier pass. Most hardcore fans want ALL the TMNT episodes on DVD, anyways. Maybe, Lionsgate will include all of season 10 AND the three missing episodes since bit rates haven't really concerned them in the past anyways. 11 episodes on one disc wouldn't be new to them.

I don't know why you're bringing this up. There was no Shredder in the Season 9 DVD and apparently it sold well enough for Lionsgate to continue releasing the series.

And I am sure "casual fans" didn't pick up anything more than a few random discs. It's only us who are buying all of them.

I recently rented the season one set from the library, and while my memory of the old show is kind of blurry, seeing Dregg in the season ten episodes is definitely bringing back some old memories. That voice is definitely unmistakable.

For those that have already bought all the sets already released, I hope they do release the rest of season ten and the other missing episodes. However, I'm still hoping that they put out a giant set of all the episodes and some extras. With the new show coming out this year, and a new movie on the way for next year, the next year-and-a-half is the perfect time period to release such a set. Assuming such a set would sell well enough, and I'm confident it would, maybe they could even do one for the '03 series.

Now that you mention it... his voice was very familiar to me also...I remember hearing his voice in other cartoons as well...

and by looking at his wikipedia page, I had no idea he passed away 6 years ago

So its May 21st, when they said the news will be "later this month," they meant in May, right?

This month has only 9 days left

I'm pretty sure Lionsgate has kept records of what has and hasn't been released. What, do you think they just went and burned all the evidence and killed the people who worked on that DVD?! Even if they decide to put all of season 10 on DVD, they will be aware of the fact that half those episodes are already on the season 1 DVD. At this point I'd be fine with that as long as "Planet of the Turtleoids" and "Once Upon a Time Machine" get put on the same disc.

You're giving Lionsgate WAY too much credit. We're talking about the same company that mixed up the episode order, just plain MISSED episodes and wouldn't comment on it, and consider 'Special Features' to be full frame video.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Final Slice of the Original Pizza Pie is Delivered with 'Season 10'!

Lionsgate is bringing the finale of the classic animated show to stores in mid-August
Posted by David Lambert
5/21/2012

Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo are back in the classic final season that pits turtles from the past and present against the evil Lord Dregg and his minions. Determined to enslave mankind, Dregg will stop at nothing to win: causing a piece of the sun to crash into Earth, opening a giant portal to pull the planet into Dimension X, and even draining the life energy from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Carter soon realizes that the only way to defeat Dregg, Krang and Shredder is to bring the Turtles' past selves to the present...doubling the Turtle power! But will they make it in time before Dregg's invasion is complete? Featuring time-warping serious Turtle muscle, season 10 is a totally tubular finale!

August 14th sees the end of Leo, Don, Ralph and Mike when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Season 10 hits stores from Lionsgate Entertainment. This single-disc release with the last 8 episodes will cost $14.98 SRP, and includes Exclusive Interviews with select animators who were behind these iconic cartoons. Package art isn't ready yet, but stay tuned and we'll update you as soon as we can!
