I don't think so. A lot of press releases like this have them and the features rarely ever change. (If they do, they usually just add more.)

It's technically not a 2-parter. It was originally aired as a single 1-hour special.

Rose, do you know if (and when) this ever aired as a 2-parter on Saturday mornings? I don't ever recall it happening and I tuned in just about every week.

It aired as a prime time special, I think on a Friday night.

I think it was broken into two parts for later airings.

For what its worth, the episode is on youtube right now and its split into two parts, with the second episode having a new title card "Planet of the Turtleoids Pt. 2."

I don't remember it ever airing again either. I was annoyed that I recorded the wrong channel the night it originally aired (recording Golden Girls instead). I ended up eventually buying the VHS tape.

I saw it on CBS primetime at least twice, and not too close together either. Also, once on USA's Cartoon Express. But, I never saw the "Part Two" title on TV. That was only in foreign countries, I believe.

The VHS is the 45 minute episode in one piece. I'm sure this will be, too.

Starting tonight I am going to be re-watching all the episodes from Season 1-9 + The 4 Season 10 Episodes on the Season 1 set. I'm thinking of counting up how many times the turtles break their weapons throughout all the episodes, lol. Anyone think of anything else that would be interesting to count up?

Why watch the Season 10 eps on the first DVD now?

Just wait till the Season 10 DVD comes out to watch them in order.

Eh, I figured why wait since I have them now? I may end up waiting though, so I can give a full count for Season 10 at once.

Depending on how long it takes, the season 10 set may be out by the time you reach that season.

As for keeping track of things, those are good and easy. I remember making a list (never did finish, maybe with the whole series out I'll actually finish it.) and it took forever, as I'd watch, pause and write down when things happened, like animation goofs and the like.
