SS_Turtle Thanks for the pics, that box set looks amazing. Too bad I won't get my hands on one because of the price. I wish they would just sell the slipcase or a slipcase variant for the people that want to keep there books safe and together.

I got lucky and bought it for a pretty fair price, plus all the inside covers are signed and sketched by Eastman. Just wish the postcard was signed and numbered. The pictures do not do justice, it looks even better in person!

that's awesome, congrats! I just wish they would do a slipcase for the people that bought the books on there own. It could be a variant of the SDCC. I just hate stuff that a lot of fans get screwed out of because they cannot goto a comic-con and are forced to pay outrageous ebay prices. Yes I know this is nothing new, it just bothers me to no end as a collector.

Look at this idiot...trying to pass 3 of the Ltd. Ed. B&W books off as the "slipcase" set but without the slipcase ("was damaged in shipping"). Yeah right.

I emailed him and told him these were available for pickup only at SDCC. Also, in my email, I asked if he could tell me what other item was available as part of the set and why that's not shown in pictures. We'll see what moron-boy says.

He's updated the listing with a shot of the damaged slipcase...

Yea, that listing does not makes sense. Even if the slipcase was damaged, why would you not include it anyway? Are the B/W books numbered for this set?

Yes, he updated with a picture of the damaged slipcase...that he's not including with the books??? That makes absolutely NO sense. Plus, he's not including the postcard / print that came with this set (and makes no mention of it in the listing or his response back to me).

The slipcase is one of two unique things about this set...the postcard / print is the second. The books themselves are the same as those available directly from the IDW Store for $50 each. The only benefit to buying this auction is that the #1 Ltd. Ed. book is sold out and not available.
