Insomuch as burning to death in a fire can be a positive thing, I guess.

Quoting the spoiler isn't gonna help anyone.

That's all well and good but I don't feel the need to speculate about every single character in the history of the goddamn franchise! Might as well ask if The Great Boldini will make a ****ing appearance!

Yet you feel the need to enter said threads and cry about it.

I'm pretty well in line with ToTheNines here. Why even have a message board at all if not to speculate and debate? What would you have people do instead, ideally? Just gather around in a massive circle-jerk about known facts about existing and old episodes and nothing else?

So what, it's okay when the rest of you guys get annoyed with each other over trivial nonsense?! I can't get angry and lash out at people I don't know with harsh insults and empty threats of physical abuse too?!

I never said it's wrong to speculate or debate over what might or might not be, nor is there anything wrong with a little nostalgia over what we've seen in the past. There has to be balance though between the two. I believe in living in the moment and appreciating what I have right now. It's okay to look back and forward, but in small doses.

What in the world?

Every message board on the internet about ANY TV show/Movie/Videogame is about speculation before it comes out.

You're getting annoyed about people wondering what's going to happen in a TV show? How does that make any sense?

It's not the speculating that's bugging me, CyberCubed. It's how you keep posting a new thread for every single question that pops into your head. "Is so-and-so going to be in the show?" "How long will the show last?" "Will the show be popular among fans of {INSERT PARTICULAR ITERATION}?" "How will the DVD releases be done?" OMG, man, how many questions are in that freaking noggin of yours?! Just make one thread for all of your questions and I promise I won't spazz out ever again!

So... let's say, 50% speculation about what might or might not be, 50% reminiscing/nostalgizing about things like "Remember how awesome that episode with Lotus Bosom was!"? And who decides what's the correct balance? What's the magic number here?

Um, you kinda just answered your own question there, buddy.

You do realize once the show actually airs, we'll have other things to talk about right?

The reason why there's so much speculation is we've only been shown brief previews here and there. We cannot discuss any full episodes or characters until the show debuts.

That's what speculation exists for.

It's not really speculation, I think it was Ciro Nieli who said she would appear at the start of the first episode.

Did I? I threw 3 questions out there, one of which I hypothesized an answer for... and it was not to my question, it was to yours.

Okay did you even read my earlier post where I vented my frustrations with you?! I made it perfectly clear that it's your constant questions that bother me, not the speculation in general! Maybe if you worded your thread titles better, like "I'd like to see this happen." instead of "Does anybody know if this will happen?" I wouldn't get so annoyed. I honestly think you're a very insightful person, but sometimes you can get on my nerves. Don't take it personally though, because I've been told I have the same effect on other people.

Because if they did the same thing over and over again, it would get old.

The core of the origin has remained almost exactly the same over the years. The only differences have been Splinter's origin really.

The biggest change is probably IDW's reincarnation angle.

Thats why the Earthworm Jim forum on Doug TenNapel's website hasn't had a post since Aug 11th. Anyone who speculates or give an idea for the new game gets banned.
