I absoulutely loved the special features
 and interveiew with the turtle actors (even the elusive Barry Gordon and Townsend Coleman) was what i've been waiting for since the series started coming out. I'm so thankful that Liongate is wising up to what the fans want. What an improvement over the last few dvd releases. I noticed some thing pretty neat. Barry Gordon and Rob Paulsen natural voices sound very similar to Donatello and Raphael, but Cam Clarke and Townsend Coleman sound very diffrent from Michaelangelo and Leoanrdo. I was not so suprised that Townsend Colemam's natural voice didn't sound like Michaelangelo's but I was bit suprised that Cam Clarke's natural voice didn't sound more like Leonardo since i always figured Cam's vocalisation of Leoanrdo was his voice just pitched higher. And I was wrong. And Cam Clarke still got it! He can still do Leonardo's voice as very well even after all these years. Townsend, the energy and spirit is still there but his Michaelangelo is a bit rusty.And I thought those stories about being not being taken seriously as the actual voices behind the turtles by little kids was really funny

Theres so many crazy things in this show lol take for example the Muckman episode krang sends shredder, bebop, and rocksteady out to get a chemical to make mutagen...yet later in the episode when they capture splinter shredder has him hanging over a huge vat of what he says is mutagen when the turtles and the muckos come to rescue splinter they chase krang and shredder back into the room splinter is in shredder says well at least I will destroy you! splinter says I think not! and knocks the Vat of mutagen over sending a rush wave of mutagen over krang and shredder sending them down the hall in the drome at that moment I had one of those ummmmm moments because they should have turned to mutants or became deformed by the mutagen. Also in the same episode Donatello needs a sample of the mutagen that turned muckman and joe eyeball into who they are Joe then throws the glob of mutagen at Donatellos computer and without a glove or anything Donatello picks it up with his bare hand after everyone had just jumped out of its way so yeah Don should have been affected by that. Then in the Mondo Gecko episode Mr. X touches the mutagen when he picks up baby Mondo and nothing happend to him that botherd me considering how when splinter touched it he became a mutant. |

Okay. Agreed. But, wasn't there a comment in TURTLEOIDS about Shredder mutating a zoo? That's what I was getting at.

I haven't had the chance to watch any of the episodes on this set yet because im still trying to finish up Season 4, but i did go ahead and skip ahead to the special features. I never actually believed lionsgate would get interviews with all these people, so it really is amazing to me to see interview clips with them talking about this show. i can't wait for the mondo gecko episode..lol i loved it when i was a kid.

Anyone notice the big animation error in the final episode, "Michaelangelo, the Sacred Turtle?"
During the first 7 minutes of the episode, Mike is wearing the disguise with the hat and the long blue jacket and pants, he's about to be attacked by the guys with swords, and then after the commercial break Mike is still standing there but instead he's wearing the trenchcoat outfit instead of the first one! Did a different animation team do the second half of the episode? They like forgot what disguise he was wearing before the commercial break. |

Haha, yeah I remember that. Very bad animation error there. Though classic TMNT has a lot of animation errors so it's not suprising.

I love this intro. The cover is something new and I like it. Then the part I watch 3 times was hearing from the guy that did the voices of our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Is it just me or was there something wrong with Rob Paulson eyes. Anyway I got Season 5,Fast forward and TMNT. All on the first day which was on tuesday.

Inevitable question but I'm already excited for the next Season. Sometime in November I presume? When should we start to expect information to come trickling in? I hope they fill the gaps that were left off of this set.

They really have to put the Planet of the Turtleoids 2-parter on this set, because isn't there a later ep in Season 6 where they RETURN to the Planet of the Turtleoids?
I think there is, and if that's the case people will have no clue why they're going to a place they've never been to. That's why that 2-parter better be the first two eps on the disc selection screen. |

Well, Kerma does come back in season 6 because he's being hunted by Destructor X due to a malfunction but they don't go back to the planet of the turtleoids. You're thinking of the season 7 ep Escape from Planet of the Turtleoids. Season 6 has Return of the Turtleoid.
