Here is a quick update to the collection... I'm closing the gap on my Volume 1. Here we have Issue #1, Second printing and Issue #6, Second printing

And here are some IDW variants

And just for fun here is Issue #1 - First, Second, and Third printing

Yep... I spent the last hour trolling through your collection, my dude. I'm starting to get the itch to get my hands on the comics I'm missing, and your updates are big inspiration. Keep the updates commin'! If I get out to Cleveland this year, maybe I could get you out to my family's restaurant in Shaker Heights (if that's not too far for you). Love to meet another fan. I know only one other person who is as interested in the TMNT property locally. So it would be cool to connect with another like-minded mutant haha...

Cheers!

Hey I appreciate the words. I was on the west side but Shaker was probably a half hour from me. I moved this past july to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area so a gathering would have to be really planned. Actually in cleveland this weekend and went to our first comic con/ visiting with family. My wife and I will inevitably be back though.

I enjoy looking through everyone else's collections and put a lot of work into mine assuming others also enjoy doing that. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'll keep those updates semi regular. It's been more difficult for a lot of reasons but I'll always keep updating as much as possible.

Update time. Still no reveal but I have my last box from Ohio finally so in the next week I'll be setting that up and probably beginning the pic taking process.

For VDay my wife got me tickets for Cleveland Wizard World and a Corey Feldman autograph. I was surprised it did so well. I would have gotten something TMNT related signed but I hate spending so much on the same persons autograph so I stuck with goonies.. Sorry for the poor pic
Spoiler:

Next we have a comic update.. It's your standard IDW ongoing, mini-series, and animated books plus variants. The one that'll stand out are the top 3. Mirage softcover 6th printing and GameStop variant. I need one more printing of Volume 1, Issue 1. The third book is the last book I needed for Archie to have a complete run. Closing the books on another complete series.

Spoiler:

I usually wait to do updates when I have a small group of books or things to show. Also I keep meaning to make my next update the unveiling of my new house display. Alas time keeps preventing me but I was too excited to wait to post this with the rest of the books I get.

Volume 1, Issue 1, sixth printing, limited Hardcover

And the signatures on the inside cover from 92! It's number 326/500

...and this completed my printings for the first issue

No those are the first TMNT statues ever released back in the early 2000's by playmates. Best statues ever made - shame playmates quality isn't up to this standard anymore.

Worth a pretty penny, Donny especially.

Great collection, man! I'm loving your storage cabinet. Very nice. Sorry to get off topic for a sec, but...

They still have the license and there's apparently quite a large demand. Has Playmates mentioned why they won't do another run of statues? My guess is poor sales, limited availability. I remember when they came out ages ago. They're super cool, though. It definitely seems like something that would sell well now.

Ok so I'll start with this... I'm no longer a fan of pro wrestling but a younger me was for sure. I rarely post non TMNT updates because frankly therer aren't many BUT... An opportunity presented itself and I had, what i consider a privilege, the chance to meet Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon. As a teen he was a favorite of mine and especially with his personal struggles over the last few years I nevER thought I'd get to meet him. It was always a goal of mine to meet the original 3 nWo members - Hulk Hogan (2013), Kevin Nash (2014), and finally Scott Hall (2015). Uber cool - I got some pics with him, here is the autograph... Now onto TMNT.

Some hard to find books follow...

Ok so all are IDW except for the Kevin Eastman 30th anniversary, AP con exclusive black and white cover (this completes me KE Studios 2014 books). We have #8 RI - strangely doesn't pop up much, TMNT/GB #4 hot topic cover (I hate ht variants, unnecessary how hard it is to get them), and 2 real hard to find ones. The raph and Donny variants are the RI-B covers for the current micro series. They uses the old covers and reprinted tbem as variants. Pretty scare - 1:25 and I barely ever see them. Just missing Leo so let me know if anyone can find it!

Anyway enjoy...
