I was actually hoping for Tara Strong so she could play off of Greg Cipes. I like the idea of her and Mikey being friends. I'm under the impression that she comes across as "strange" or "misunderstood" just like Mikey amongst his brothers.

I was thinking the same thing. Not sure which turtle she'll relate to the most. I was thinking Don, but have definitely started considering Mikey since you brought him up. Well, just because Tara Strong isn't voicing Irma doesn't mean she won't show up in this series at some point. It could happen. Not sure who she could voice but that'd be neat. I loled when she lent her voice to Harley in Arrow. Always a treat to hear her show up out of the clear blue in special guest appearances.

I don't know, I was thinking something along the lines of being a kinda "Spy" for the Turtles maybe.

She could help the Turtles, April and Casey get information in places that they can't perhaps?

It's kinda hard for the Turtles to go up to the surface and I'm sure the most of the mutants and the Kraang have seen April and Casey enough to recognize their affliction with the Turtles... (Plus their trying to track down April anyways)

But since they haven't seen Irma yet (save for the Rat King) I'm sure she could easily slip right under their noses. XD

Well considering that she's on to April's "Secret Friends" I'd say that it's pretty likely.

With the few appearances she's made already I think it's clear the direction they want to go with her. She'll meet the turtles eventually and they'll likely have her hit it off with a particular turtle.

I could see Mikey becoming infatuated with her creating some good gags for the show. Alternatively I could see her becoming infatuated with Raph and having him be kinda weirded out. Again more laughs all around.

But I think a cooler move for her (though this is unlikely) is to become a villain. Not for a while. Give her time to interact with the TMNT. Get to know them and the secret lair. Then write a lose-lose situation where April has to choose the lesser of two evils and that choice ends up inflicting harm on Irma ultimately causing a falling out between them. There are a lot of characters I'm hoping don't get mutated (stay human Karai!) but with Irma I actually think it'd be cool. She's the SMART mutant villain the series needs! Black widow Irma...Rat Snake Irma....or Panther Irma. She'd be a cool rival to April who seems to be ever growing into a ninja herself.

Why isn't Irma in the 2014 movie when Vernon is? Why spend time creating some Taylor character replacing her.

That confused me as well?

I guess because the name "Irma" is kinda old fashioned so they wanted a new Hip Cool name like "Taylor" (thinks of Taylor Swift >_>)

But whatever, she's still Irma as far as I'm concerned.



But anyways guys assuming Irma does in fact bond with Mikey the most, What types of things do you guys think that they would bond over or have in common?

April and Donnie bond over intelligence, science and stuff (don't know how to word it). Aprils always in Donnie's lab watching what he's doing or helping him with tests of whatever (kraang water, retromutagen, etc.) Aprils often portrayed as a more intelligent person, like in 2k3 where she was good with computers.

she doesn't seem to be into science.

she only seemed interested in Donnie's lab because she wanted to know more about the kraang, who kidnapped her father or was waiting for a cure because her father was mutated.

she seems to be into surfing the web, but all that was connected to finding her father.

In the last episode has show that April's friend ship with Irma it's in a delicate situation; hiding her secret to her friend it's making her a bad friend. She run off without a good excuse, she lie to her in the face,... She didn't even face Jones when he insult Irma!
I can see Irma snap about her behavior and demanding her the truth.

I am still under the impression, and I could be wrong, that neither April nor Irma take what Casey says seriously and ignores him. I still feel that he's the third wheel in these situations as opposed to Irma.

Irma has appeared, haging out with April and Casey; she obviously doesn't like Casey because his narcirsism and because he's kinda a jerk over her. She even asked April what did she see on him.
And now, when both girls got captured by the purple dragons by their new ghost master, this reveals that Irma; get ready; has powers that he do not understans but he was willin to discover it... And he knock her out.
The most epic moment was how close she was to meet the turtles. They were there! So close! But, of course, April had to lie to her saying that all that Irma saw was just an hallutination...

Irma is so close to meet them, and it shows that she's going to be something more than the clumbsy nerdy girl

Why is April hiding the Turtles from Irma if Irma is April's best friend? Why doesn't she just ask the Turtles if it was OK they meet, and get it done and over with?
