The best actor to play Casey Jones in sequel? - Page 14

Yeah, while a normal guy over 30 may not act in that way. We've seen time and time again at least for the mirage comics, that Casey's a manchild loser, someone ala Big Daddy from the Kick-Ass comics, a man who's obsessed with crappy cop movies, comic book vigilantes and trashy martial arts films. He lives with his mother, only seems to befriend people far younger than him and seems to have some severe mental illnesses complete with a lack of intelligence, which isn't the best combo for a man like that. I doubt the films are gonna go that route and are likely gonna stick to the cartoon style that he just enjoys fighting. I think his age is stated in that turtle RPG game as being 22, but within the actual mirage issues I can't remember it being stated.

I think this is very good. You know who Jones is more than other people who think he's a cool guy! kkkkkkkk! Who is it that you think of as the playing of Mr. Jones?

while i like Jackman he would only be brought in for star power (which should be the turtles job)

Jones should atleast be 30..im not going to pretend that who ever they pick will be the best choice ever but i hope there is some effort

though im falling into the Jones will be Verns Super Hero name idea

If anything Jackman at least isn't bad for his age and he does 'badass' pretty well. (Well, judging from what limited amount I've paid attention to.) Because I'm gonna go out on a rather short superficial limb and hope they at least hire some degree of eye candy for the role. (And preferably not one only appreciated by those under 25.)

Myself, I'd like Jon Bernthal of The Walking Dead fame. He's had a role or two with long hair and has the rugged features and muscles for it. He heavily resembles the 2003 look imo and does a good Brooklyn accent.

Some of us knew he was a terrible actor like ten years ago...

I'm just like... yeah, he sucks, but... can/will they actually do better? All signs point to no. So, he'd be a crummy choice, BUT still, in all likelihood, better than whoever they actually pick. I could see them actually doing it for the same reason Keyboard Cat made it into the first movie, and "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" made it into X-Men III... the "It was kinda funny on the internet a little while ago, and we're desperately trying to be hip" principle.

I mean the whole entire thing is a farce anyways, so y'know. The entire series is so bad right from the start, I can't even think of a single person I'd "want" to see do the role. I probably could pick someone I'd like as Casey in a Good TMNT movie, but not in one of these. Someone I like would just be dragged down by the wretchedness of the entire affair. Far as I'm concerned, they could pick just about anyone and it wouldn't make any sizeable difference.

Yeah, why are we concerned with whether or not somebody can act for these movies?

Megan Fox is the lead and she is objectively awful.

Hey, I got an idea. Why don't they just use Alan Ritchson to play Casey Jones. Won't be the first time actors played duel roles in movies.
