I won a copy of Shell Shock from Mirage's official Ebay account, I think they mentioned it was part of Peter's personal collection and they shipped it with a print of the cover of TMNT Vol 4 #15 with Donatello and the dinosaurs. At the bottom is looks like Peter's signature in bright green. I've never come across the print and wanted to know if anyone might know if it's common. It's a nice freebie either way.

What does that have to do with Ebay?

As for the print, it must not be too rare 'cause I got a commission from Dan Berger last month and he tossed in one of those, as well as two others, all of which were signed by Pete in green ink. They must have a bunch laying around at Mirage. Prior to getting them, I'd never seen them before...

I bought it off Ebay from Mirage...That's why I posted in this thread. I just wanted to know more about it. Didn't mean anything by it.

I saw this auction last night.

i'm watching it just to see if someone does buy it. I've noticed that any high dollar Turtle comics never gets bought. The auctions just keep going back up.

So This is kinda crazy. Prior to this auction, I think $20 is the most I've ever paid for a Pre-Turtles Kevin book. Today, this one went from $22 to $77 in the last 10 seconds. I lost the auction (WARNING: ADULT CONTENT):

Yeah, that off-center sticker kinda gives it away.

I'm more amazed that the seller is trying to pass it off as legitimate. The seller is claiming its an "import." Some unsuspecting buyer is not gonna be happy, I think.

eBay is really bad with bootleg GameBoy Advance games and DS games. It also amazes me how clueless so many people supposedly are. About a month ago, I bought a Nintendo DSiXL bundled with 7 games, most of which were rare. When I received the lot, it was immediately evident that the cartridges were off-color and a slightly different weight, and the color quality of the stickers and manuals was also off. I e-mailed the seller, who was cool enough to give me a full refund, but he was "shocked" and "confused" because he had bought the items from a different seller who said the items were different because they were imported versions. In the end, the guy never actually admitted that he sold me bootlegs; he remained convinced that they were only different because they were imports of some sort. Hah!
