TRU online is selling the battleshell turtles and spiderbytez. I know some are not finding them locally. Hope this helps.

I bought the new Battle Shell Turtles from Target last week and 3/4 of them had odd qc issues. Raphael had the some what common swapped arms issue (easy to fix), but one arm and one leg was kinda loose. My Donatello had glue running the side of his face and mask like he was sweating. Leo had the weirdest flaw of all, he had extremely unevent feet. I pulled his legs off to examine to discover one peg was longer than the other. It took me another week and a half to find replacements from Walmart. The batch I found at Walmart had slightly different coloring, different pegs for the limbs, Raph had his arms in proper placement, and numbers printed on the bottom of their feet.
The standing for the replacement Leo I got is a little wobbly, but at least one foot isn't 1mm taller than the other.

I've had similar issues as well. Leo has one leg longer than the other and the lower legs are slightly pitched outward (almost to the point where it seems like they are on the wrong legs). The other three also have lower legs that pitch outward as well with Michelangelo being the worse, he is wobbly.

So far I've had to rebuy Donatello because of a bad head mold, and will be looking for Michelangelo in store to try to get a replacement. I'm holding off on rebuying Leo until my replacement comes from TRU.com for my messed up order. All-in-all, the only one I didn't need to rebuy was Raph. I wouldn't call this series a home run by any stretch of the imagination. Great figures IF done correctly but too many factory botches for my taste.

I wish the figures were done with standardized parts instead of molds the individual factories made.

Yes it does. He/She wants the figure parts (f.e. thè legs) to be made in the same factory so they can fit evenly.

The Leo leg thing happened to me as well. Really wobbly. Should I return him or are ALL the Leos like this? Also, his sheath peg is too small so it moves around extremely loosely and the swords are too skinny, they don't stay in his hands. This could be fixed with wave 1 swords and sheath IF the hole wasn't specially molded for the short peg.

I just bought another Leo (1st series fig, not the battleshell) and opened him up to find that he has TWO RIGHT FEET!! Hopefully Target won't look at me funny when I go to return an opened figure, but I'm not giving my son a Leo like that.

Walmart returned my opened Fishface (missing eyeball paint, cracked top fin, random plastic) just fine. (Luckily right after I returned him I found a perfect one in the toy display

) Though maybe Target has more common sense so they might look at you funny.

Raph and Don can for the most part. Leo and Mikey are a little wobbly. I'm wondering if it's because of the weird pose they are packaged in.

Leo was designed with his legs that way. It's pretty clear since everyone who buys that figure has the same problem. It boggles my mind WHY Playmates has such a proclivity towards making terrible legs and/or locked in leg poses for so many of its figures, but that's what we're working with.

As for the leg coloring issue, I don't think you necessarily need one from a different 'factory', it's just that the plastic color is going to have slight variations from batch-to-batch. Normally it shouldn't be all that noticeable but given its Playmates we are talking about here, nothing is surprising when it comes to the quality of figures lately. Worried that they could be heading into Jazwares territory if they don't shape up.

put a pan of water and hot boil it. once its bubbly and boiling dip his arms in there for a few short minutes before pulling himn out, use a towel (and becareful, the plastic his hot) to grab and pull the joint of of the socket, the hot boiling water should soften the plastic enough to pop them out easy.

its called the boil and pop technique.

another thing u can try is heat up a cup of water in a microwave.

If the biceps are swapped you can just unscrew and swap and change the hands with warm water.

I got the *only* new Shredder figure that was on the shelf earlier this evening at the K-Mart on Astor Place, which is here in NYC where I live. It's pretty much the best Shredder figure I can think of. It was also kind of special finding the a lone Shredder figure amongst all the new turtle battle-shell figures. And to top it all off, they were all on sale for $6!
