Those 11" interactive are awesome. I can't wait to get a hold of them. I know an 8 year old autistic boy who loves the turtles, but he doesn't have the capacity to "pretend". He mostly just collects the figures and studies them. He likes to take them around with him everywhere he goes, sleeps with them, and likes to talk about them, but doesn't know how to actually play with them. He enjoys toys that perform the work for him such as the interactive Dinosaur Train figures (same concept as these turtles) that were in stores a couple of years ago, so these will make him very happy.
Oh, but the missing paint app on Raph's tongue is just despicable... such a shame.

As for the Bebop figure, he's actually bulked up some from the leaked concept art we saw, but the Half Shell Heroes figure is better IMO as it appears to be a hybrid of the OT Bebop (red vest) and the 2014 Bebop (purple tech).

I'm having a real hard time finding Slash in Boston. Looks like I'll be forced to use Amazon once again. Witch sucks becuase I always enjoy hunting these things down in the wild. & avoid paying premium prices.

Why don't you use TRU, Target, or WM's site and get a price closer to 8.89?

So did they ever fix later releases of the Nick Battle Shell basics? Leo had weird standing issues.

So does any one have the release dates for Tiger Claw, Robotic Foot Soldier, Bebop, and Rocksteady?

I don't think there's a solid date, just "Fall 2014", but Fall 2014 was the same thing announced for the Z-Line sets at ToyFair 2014 back in February even though the sets were in stores in January. Same thing for Half Shell Heroes, announced Fall 14 and we're starting to see them now. I'm sure we'll be seeing them by September, more likely earlier. Playmates doesn't stick to a schedule. With the new wave of Turtle-Mania some suit will pull the plug on the Fall dates and "$$$ SHIP IT ALL NOW! $$$".

The panel at SDCC said that the FS and Tigerclaw were coming in the next month or so.

Dilemma... My movie Shredder, Raph in coat, Splinter and Foot have arrived at my office. It's only a ten minute walk from my apartment, but... I went in last week to pick up the interactive talkers and ended up in a three hour meeting
I'd like to pick up these figures but I don't want to do any work this weekend !!!

Use stealth! lol

Or... have a "reason" you can't stay, like you have a friend/relative expected to arrive at your house in 20 minutes?

Stealth doesn't work at my place. I'm sure they send me messages during weekends and holidays to say stuffs arrived as a ruse to get me into meetings!
However, if I hang fire til after five, I should be ok, maybe!!

I managed to come across the April figure, which would complete my Movie set (till wave 2). Except...it is selling for 3 x the price of the others. Might just get one in from the US.

Ah, not that I've seen... I was commenting basically on the fact that the sets are never complete. Playmates always comes along with a next wave...

Anyone know if there is going to be another wave for the movie figures, especially the turtle lair? I'd love to get my daughter the movie one for Christmas so she has a 'real' ninja turtle home for her figures.

Not really a fan of the nick version it just seems like it could have been better than what they made especially the price that is but you'd think they'd cash in on doing the movie version.

I dont think there will be a movie playset. If they did they would have shown in already either at Toy Fair or SDCC.
I still see the Nick toon playset for sale sometimes. less than $100. It's actually a pretty good playset well worth the price. No company are still making playsets for 4" figures. It's a hard market.

I looked at my Dojo 11" figures with masks off. Both Leo and Don have unpainted toungues, that I hadn't noticed before. Ah well, just another paint ap that's missing !

Wait, there's a new wave of Turtlemania?! I haven't noticed it at all. The Turtles are nowhere as big now as they were at the start of 1990.

No, but it's pretty damn close.

To be honest, with all of today's modern distractions, I don't think ANYTHING could be as big as TMNT was from '89-91. There's just too much competition for kids' time and attention.
