Well, if the storyboard is anything to go by...she knows that Shredder isn't her real father now and calls him out on it. Since this would make her go against him, he would have no use for her, especially since he now has Tiger Claw, who looks to be a replacement for Karai in the Foot Clan (Shredder even gives TC Karai's spot as second in command in "Wormquake!"). And if he did mutate her, it would not only be a punishment for her but a stab a Splinter as well. I can see it happening, and we know she's getting mutated one way or another...so for now I believe the storyboard.

As for the Don/April kiss scene storyboard...I don't know if that will turn out to be real or not. I'm not exactly hoping for it to happen, but I certainly wouldn't have a problem if it did. Does look pretty real though, since they will be going out of the city (I think the storyboard showed them in a forest or something).

but that's just it......does Shredder only think of Karai as some tool/puppet? or does he actually care about her?? He's had her since she was a baby.

I think the story would be more interesting if he did come to truly care about her as his daughter.

why shouldn't he? Karai seems to care about him as a father, so they must of had some bonding moments.

it would be nice to see some conflict with Karai's feelings. When she does confront Shredder about the truth, I don't just want her to suddenly hate Shredder but just be confused, and I don't want Shredder to just be "welp, I guess you're useless, get in my jail." It just doesn't seem right.

I'm hoping for Karai's mutation to be a mistake and Shredder to be angered by it.

as for the Donnie and April thing, I could honestly care less about April so if she gets with Donnie, lucky him as long as she doesn't ruin the other characters for me and it stops the love triangle. I'm completely over April.

Like it hasn't already happened three times this season...

TBH, I don't think it would bother me all that much at this point...a Donatello x April kiss, but it would still be majorly weird.

Hm, maybe he's never fully viewed her as one. His hatred for Yoshi runs deep. There's that possibility that he sees her as Hamato Yoshi's daughter...but the scenario you brought up would make his character interesting for me.

Or maybe he did view her as something, maybe not as close as a parent and child, but something, but that started changing after finding out that Yoshi was still alive.

Hm, didn't think of it from that angle...but Casey having a nightmare about that, I just couldn't see it. He strikes me as being very confident in himself, unless it truly is a mask for other things going on in his life in a general sense. To me Casey, like Raph, knows Donny has no shot with April. He's "sadorable".

April having that type of dream would be weird imo, since I'm under the impression that they want to keep her ambiguous.

Donny is sadorable, so the only way he can share a romantic kiss with April is in a dream.

Seriously, each preview or promo with him makes me sad and disappointed for his character. A lot of fans may dislike 4Kids Mikey due to his ego in the later seasons and his lack of humor but at least he knew when to be serious and showed us he could could do things

Ask for the story boards, I'm fine with the Karai one but please no on the April x Donnie thing, do you know what an even bigger mess will have if that happens? Ontop of that, I don't see it. It all feels wrong to me.

I think we definitely need to get some moments with Shredder and Karai being together if she's going to finally believe that he isn't her father. I sort of had thought that he had gotten a little fond of her in spite of himself - though deep down he'd still put his vendetta first. The moment in Season 1 where they brought back one of the kraang to interrogate and he said "You always wanted a pet" kind of insinuated a bit of a softer side to me - like, just the fact that he'd even remember that?

There are a lot of different ways that the mutation could play out though. Shredder could maybe have her mutated and set it up to look like it was Splinter and the Turtles' fault, to try to turn her against them again. Or he could have her mutated because he knows it will send her running to the Turtles and he plans to use her to infiltrate them (albeit without her knowledge). Or he could mutate her and tell her that only he has the cure, to force her to obey him (though Donnie's retromutagen might kind of work against that - except that he doesn't have enough mutagen to make anymore at this stage, so there is that).

Many options - all I know is that this show almost never does what I expect, so I'm sure that either way it'll be cool as hell.
