Randi merely muttered bitterly under her breath noting that it was getting slightly darker, "I'm goanna..." She whinced, "...go home." She told them, "Y'all can... have yer fun... with out me."

"You're not going alone." Li said firmly, "Not in that condition."

"I'll be fine." Randi replied for the umpteenth time.

Michelangelo gracefully flipped up from his handstand. "A'ight, then."

With that he leaped at least 15 feet from his standing position onto a nearby building top. He began to walk briskly, following Randi....

Of course, Randi didn't go home, instead she found a nice secluded area atop another building and leand against the intrance to the stairs. She pulled her knees up to her chest and hugged them, resting her head upon her arms.

Michelangelo watched Miranda from a distance. He decided to give her some time alone (as she really hadn't had any since her attack), and just stayed in his position, watching her from a safe vantage point.

As Randi sat there, she did something she hadn't done in years.

She pulled all her psi energy inward, every last bit of it, and formed up an unbreakable psychic wall.

No one could read her mind, even if they tried; and she couldn't hear any one elses thoughts--she couldn't even hear the 'Snow'. She was totally deaf to anything psychic.

Michelangelo remained at his vantage point and watched Randi from a distance. She winced for a moment and seemed to be in some kind of pain... but it quickly subsided. She appeared to be very relaxed thereafter....

After a little longer, Randi raised her head again and stared out into the west watching the sun set. She glowered at the scene and moaned, burrying her face into her knees again as if watching the sunset was more painful than her chest.

Michelangelo continued to keep an eye on Randi. He was deeply concerned as she was obviously in pain, and not just from her wounds.... still, it was probably best to give her some time alone. For now, anyways.

At the same time, Mike was 'listening in' on Li's conversation with his brothers, thanks to the strong psychic rapport he shared with them. Anyone of the four of them, with a little concentration, could 'contact' any other should the need ever arise.

We've all killed demons before, Li. Mike chimed in, remembering their battle with god Loki and his demon hordes (particularly the Grendel).

Li nodded, having no psychic abilities of her own... she was a bit worried about Randi. She always seemed to get touchy when she was up here... "Either way, it may be best for your weapons to be blessed when dealing with these demons."

Donatello arched an eyebrow at Li in confusion, " 'Blessed'? I doubt it. But you could say that it has some of the best handlers to ever use it." Donatello said in pride... grabbing his bo from its place and spinning it around like a circuis act.

Michelangelo wondered why they needed to get their weapons 'blessed'. Raphael killed Cerebus, the three-headed demonhound of Hades, without ever having his sai 'blessed'. Mike himself had knocked out the god Loki without any religious intervention. Leo had shredded open the demon Grendel's neck with his katana.... it all seemed pretty pointless for them to get their weapons 'blessed'. But.... if that's what Li thought was best. After all, she WAS the expert.

Randi finally stood up, using the wall that she had been sitting against for leverage. Ignoring the pain still stabbing in her breast (

gasp! I said breat!) she walked over to a rock and picked it up.

She stared at it for a moment as if trying to memorize its texture and basic composition of the rock. Before she whirled around and threw it as if it were a baseball right in Mikes general direct.

The 'fast ball' didn't even come close to Mike, but it did hit its mark. A beer bottle left on the edge of the roof. It shattered and the glass and rock fell off the edge.

Randi harrumphed, still ignoring the pains in her chest and glared bitterly at the ever lowering sun as if it was the cause of all her problems.

He might. Leo replied, but I think Li has some one else in mind... how's Randi?
((Hey, just to remind you Heretic, I haven't had the luck of reading as many TMNT comics as you. In my opinion, only a holy ornimant can do perminant damage to a demonic apparation and that is what I'm basing my characters and bad guys on.))
