I know people have mentioned this but this episode upset me because Don and Mike got knocked out so immediately... I mean do they have to constantly be the losers of the group? Why not use the original story the comic is based off--Mike plasters Raph, then Raph loses his cool?
Other than that, very coolly animated fight scenes but nonstop action sequences kind of bore me. Still, it's better than dealing with the unpleasant character interactions. Casey is meh. Irma was awesome. Splinter fighting with the Turtles was cool. I really don't like that Splinter goes so gently on April but is a jerk to his own sons. |

Well, that's because he's their dad, so he has to be a strict disciplinarian, and April hasn't done anything to seriously tick him off except in the finale when she called him out on not going with his sons. She apologized for that though, so he had no need to discipline her.

This was among the best episodes so far, might be my favorite in the 2nd season without the previous episode. But so April's a psychic of sort? Meh.....

Just watched this episode last night very good not the best. I felt it had a kind of movie one feel to it with Raph going off running into Casey then again find him on the rooftop when Casey notices him. prob a tribute to the first movie.

Anyway, I'm super late here and have nothing special to add. School and work and Sundays don't work for me...but whatever. Great ep, great fight scenes. I think I only enjoyed Target: April O'Neill more this season.

This is gonna sound crazy, but I didn't know this show existed until last week. So this was my first episode and I LOVED it. 8/10. The only complaint I have is the opening monologue with Casey was pretty cheesy. But I can't wait to see more episodes!

you don't have to cash out so much money for just the first vol, dude.also vol 1 is only 6 episodes, I think you are reffering to that double dvd set which includes volumes 1 AND 2.that would be twelve episodes.but you may look around a little before paying 30 dollars for it,its usually much cheaper..I think at least 20 dollars for both you'll be able to get it. |

I thought this was a veey good episode.....Overall. I really enjoyed it, but I was kind of put off by the fact that the way Raph meets Casey is a shot for shot rehash of the 2003 series.

Exactly, and he realized her words were true. But as for the Turtles getting disciplined, I don't care. He needs to whip them into shape, and he did discipline them in 2K3 if you remember.

In regards to Casey and his father and sister I kinda feel he meant they died and he was unable to protect them and he wants to be ready so he doesn't lose April the same way.

I hope not. That means that out of our three main human characters, each one has a dead, or in April's case, MIA, parent. Which isn't cool. I don't know why kid's shows always kill off a parent, but I always find it unnecessarily depressing.
